    Hi!

I'm a male college student, not quite addicted yet, but trying to go for prevention instead of the cure. I didn't follow through on a few resolutions I made to stop about a year ago when I noticed the Coolidge effect becoming a problem, and I'm hoping to do it properly this time.

Looking forward to supporting and receiving support form you guys.

  2. What do you mean by the coolidge effect becoming a problem?

Welcome to NoFap where you are amongst friends who are here to encourage you and sometimes challenge you but not judge you.

The enemy is here to steal, kill and destroy. What are your current strategies for combating the enemy called PMO?

    Hi guys! Thanks for responding.

I mean that regular porn started to get boring. I began watching hentai and playing flash games, and I started encountering tentacles and psuedo-rape (you know, when they resist at first but when the guy gets his way they all of a sudden love it). At first I thought, "Well that's fucking disgusting", and avoided it. But over time, while some things were still effective, these perverse themes became one of the few things that really turned me on. The problem is, I still think its fucking disgusting, and I want to stop.

Up until yesterday, none. Around a year ago I tried a few things, installing anti-porn extensions and forgetting their password, putting parental controls on myself, and watching videos on why porn is bad, But you can only watch videos for so long and I would always find ways to get around those self-imposed restrictions. Now I'm hoping what will work is a fresh helping of willpower and you guys. I know communities can make a big difference for stuff like this and I really appreciate you guys welcoming me into the community. Good luck to you too!
