There is an interesting article that came out today it was a Brit study which showed that women in long term relationships where they live with the man lose interest in sex more quickly than the men. The part that intrigued me was kind of glossed over but it said when men have sexual dysfunction women lost interest quicker. Personally I think sexual desire for women comes a lot from being desired so if your man has ED it seems quite reasonable that you don't want to attempt sex or would turn it down, it makes you feel bad! Or if he has DE it's the same plus an hour of sex than ends with him having no O. But the article like most presumes it's the woman's fault! Ugh.

That sucks that they made it seem like the woman's fault. I know for me, if I don't feel desired I don't really want to even try to have sex. So when my husband shows interest in subtle ways I start getting more interested in showing him I'm interested. I personally don't want to make myself vulnerable after all this. Before Dday I was the one who initiated, who showed interest, and well was adventurous. I think it comes down to communication and compromise. It's no one's fault per se, it's more about lack of communication.

agreed. I might also add that both sides need to be over their own stuff enough to sufficiently care about the other person. in my marriage I think we both failed at that.

I saw the info-graphic from that same Brit study. I noticed the trend that anal sex was completely driven by age: the older the respondents the less likely they were to have engaged in it. I first thought was that has to be an impact of porn.

I also thought it interesting that the occurrence of oral sex was slightly, but significantly lower that vaginal sex across all ages. I would have thought them almost exactly the same.

Another article on it referenced a study showing how porn Is reshaping sexual preferences in men very interesting. Your wife don't do anal but you let you O on her face ? She's boring! And as a wife if your husband keeps asking for things you find degrading or disgusting I get she you don't want sex! And the same article said it was creating sexual anxiety in men who could not perform like the stars. http://www.bbc.com/news/health-40814082

  6. Personally, my wife enjoys anal. She was disappointed when I said I wanted to do PIV only while I reboot.

  9. That's why I've never been able to have anal with other women, I couldn't fit in, even when they were enthusiastic about it. But what can I say, my wife enjoys it, and it can usually get in there.
