So I've been reading some stuff in forums and I learnt relapse can happen at any point in time.No matter how far you've made it.A guy had relapsed after 180 days which was pretty shocking to me because I have this 90 day challenge and I thought It'll be easier after that length of time.
I've recently joined this website and I am on a 5 day streak. I think what really helps you to stay motivated and keep you committed is being clear on your reason or reasons why.
why do you wanna leave P and M?have you really convinced yourself that these habits and addictions are harmful to your life? Or it's just that you're tired and wanna change a little bit but that picture in rear view mirror still gives you pleasure and at the back of your mind you're considering to start P and M at some point? Because I tried to leave this addiction so many times before and same thing always kept me from achieving my goal : relapsing! and the reason why I relapsed was that I was really clear on my reasons why!
believe me nothing helped until I sat and made a list on things that I will achieve after leaving my addiction and the things I lose in long run if I wont! this really decreases the urge to P&M and gives you confidence and motivation.hope this helps! good luck everyone!

Strong urges will come, if you resist it, then flatline will hit you, and then strong urges, it's a cycle.
Flatline is the healing process actually,
I was also at day 5 once and now I am at 210 days, it's a long journey,
You're going to have to go through lots of ups and downs but just don't give in, you will attain your bliss state after this fight.

I am currently working on a guide "How to deal with urges" and before I have even started I had to write about this.
Unless you have a really great reason for doing, you will going to fail.

It's pointless to read all the tips on dealing with urges, if you won't actually try them.
Most people won't, because when urges come they don't have a strong reason to say NO to them and they relapse.

Absolutely. I've gone periods of a year or more only to fall back into it. I wish it were true that a ninety day reboot is all it takes, but it's not so. Porn will always be something we can go back to, so we've got to remain vigilant the rest of our days. That's kind of a depressing thought, but there's no real way around it, so we've just got to implement as many positive habits as we can, stay busy and focused, and set our minds on success.

Anyhow, good tip on writing out clear goals and knowing exactly why we're doing NoFap and what benefits we'll receive and what negatives we'll avoid by keeping our eyes on the prize.

From what I understand, once you are a porn addict, you will always be an addict. The urges will come n go, sometimes stronger, sometimes mild. At the end of the day, I believe that we need to have a clear motivation on why we are doing what we are doing. The motivation drives us to make the right decision during those crucial moments. For me, understanding the harm of porn does to my body, soul and spirit keep me motivated to do what is right. I used to struggle but with the help of NoFap tools, I'm able to focus my mind back in the game again. Remember, it's all in the mind people. Let's continue to run to good race and fight the good fight people!

The neuro connections of our addiction can not be destroyed throughly.there is always something left in our brain.that is why instead of trying to eliminate a habit we should simply create a new one to replace it.healthy sex life, gym or meditation can be good options.
