What you describe its a contradiction. The hole definition of Nice Guys has changed in the past decades. Today a Nice Guy is friendzoned, please others instead of himself, looks for women validation, use manipulations to try to get what he wants since he doesnt has the gut to be straight forward with his needs and is passive-agressive since he avoids conflict.

So no, women dont want a Nice Guy. A guy who respect her, but also respect and values HIMSELF? Sure.

 

I agree with @HacKadi on everything but the "pleases others instead of himself" part. Nice Guys don't please others, they flatter them. There's a big difference between the two.

 

Of course you can be friendly and not be what is colloquially referred to as a "Nice Guy." The point is that many guys who bitch about not getting women because they are "Nice Guys" are assholes themselves.

Well not 100% now that I finished the video since it asumes that all nice guys are frikis and weirdos. Not that there is something wrong with that but according to that guy it would be the reason they dont get laid, and its not. A Nice Guy can be married and have a beuatifull wife or he can be single and virgin, it doesnt matter. The main issue is their fear of rejection in all ways, so they put other people needs first, resulting in an unhappy and unfulfilling life.

I tried being a nice guy, didn't seem to work that was with my last gf, I lacked expereince too and so on. Now, that I've been going to the gym, I gained confidence, experience from last relationship, so I will do better this time. But, yeah what girls want is stil a mystery.

 

When women or people in general say what they want realize that it isn't always what they respond to for example a girl saying she won't date a guy shorter than her and then you will see her dating someone shorter actions speak louder than words I'm learning don't try to be what they say they want just be yourself as much as you can and they will respect you for that if not then they aren't right for you

Women want guys with self-esteem because those guys get things done. They seek for security in life and the partner who radiates that value is the confident guy. A guy who could handle a family, provides them with the security they need and cares for them. They take more risks in deciding for a partner and its not like your character is written on your forehead but at least confident guys look like they are reliable.
