It's just me or men get more aggressive towards you during a long nofap streak?

There is a period where men get aggressive.. It's the testosterone normalizing... Or trying to.
You gotta get past it.
It's good, usually.
You just are like, oh, he was nice and now he's a dick... Guess he's moving along in his reboot
Give him another week or two and they usually calm down or relapse and it starts over.

I haven’t noticed that in particular but maybe it does happen. Could be on NoFap we’re more focused, testosterone ruunning like it should and we’re more confident. That will often raise the hackles on insecure alpha males and aggressive dudes. Means we’re getting our balls back.

Yes, I do notice that. Some are aggressive. But some men are acting more respectful towards me as well. And some are flat out submitting. It's really weird to observe this in human apes, but it's definitely fascinating to me.

There are couple main factors contributing to this. One is that your own body language, facial expressions, speech patterns and behavior changes on a good streak, due to hormonal and neurophysiological changes not fapping induces. You basically act more as an alpha male / alpha female (depending from your gender) and people respond according to that. Some see it as a threat (probably subconsciously, not so much consciously) so they act more aggressive and those who are more confident in their status or don't care about it much start to show more respect.

Another factor is pheromones. These are sexual hormones that are excreted through sweat. For opposite gender they signal that you are fertile and available. They can not be consciously detected through smell. But our nose and brain perceive them unconsciously. This is one of the reasons why many people report opposite sex to be magically attracted to them when they are on a streak. But they are not only for opposite sex. Same sex can smell them too and for them they signal status, competition and threat.

 

It happens to me for sure. I'm sad and confused coming off of a relapse. Then I kick myself until I vow to never do it again. Then I do good for a while. Then as I go on I get snappy, moody and so very sarcastic. The sarcasm is built in with me, but it gets worse.

It's unfortunate that something that makes us feel good, even if for a moment, is terrible for us. Those endorphins aren't going to keep firing the same way forever, hence why we look for harsher stuff to fill that void. Once you realize you can't get any edgier, you're already in the pit. But, I digress...

I get more standoff-ish when rebooting, for sure.

Not really. I notice I seem to become more approachable by men and women alike, though.

 

I noticed dog starting to bark more when i walk by.. like they see a danger..

 

As a male user I believe to some extent about people having certain auras. Honestly I am one of those guys that becomes somewhat aggressive until maybe the 3rd or 4th week where it feels like my mind finally corrected itself. I don't personally perceive women as a threat during the nofap period, instead I feel perpetually angry at myself for wasting so much valuable time.

 

I don't feel more aggressive. I definitely notice that people view me differently. Those guys probably just wish they were you.

What do you mean by "insecure" alphas? Those two things generally contradict each other. Some guys are fake or wannabe alphas, but there never actually alphas to begin with.

 

I see auras as a type of bio-electromagnetic energy field. When we are not fapping we charge our bodies with a lot of Yang Chi energy. It's kinda like charged electromagnet; it produces magnetic field which attracts everything with opposite charge and repels everything with same charge (+ and - [opposites] attract each other, - and - or + and + [likes] repel each other, Yang [male Chi energy] attracts Yin [female Chi energy], Yang and Yang [or Yin and Yin] repeals each other). This is also I believe partly why there might be magical attraction of opposite sex and magical aggressive-type of repulsion between same sex when your energetic field (aura) has heavy charge of your particular Chi.

That's the more esoteric explanation of this phenomenon. I personally believe in Chi energy. But at the same time everything in this physical universe is essentially energy in different frequencies of vibration, that's just physics. So maybe pheromones and our own behavior changes might be what ancient Chinese described as Chi regarding attraction between sexes. Or maybe these are just couple things and there are some more that science has not yet have discovered. Such as possibility for human cells to communicate between different people bodies through some kind of biological network of dark matter.

 

Yes, you definitely get more masculine and aggresive, because of the sexual energy (and testosterone) building up.

I would begin to feel angry all the time and just wanting to punch people for no reason

NoFap def makes me more aggressive but not just in a negative way. I talk to strangers without even thinking about it but my tolerance for bullshit is very low. Everyone seems to respond way more positively to me after day 2. I dont know if its psychological due to increased confidence but it seem like everybody loves me when im abstaining.

I've read this many times in the forums and it motivates me so much because I already have a low threshold for phoney people. I feel like if a reach the peak of the mountain of not giving a shit my life would fantastic. If a woman is not interested I wouldn't take it personally and move on with a "plenty of fish in the sea" mentality.
