Has anyone recovered from PIED?

I used porn for 28 years, i don't know how long the reboot took because it is an ongoing lifelong process. I don't have a time limit on it. I think setting a 30, 60, 90 or whatever goal is the wrong mindset. There were many times that I couldn't get erect during sex but now I am having some of the best erections and orgasms since my 20s and I'm 50. Stopping PMO is a VERY good life choice.

 

i did. I wasn't a heavy porn user, like once a week but i was masturbating once a day for last 6-7 years and had sex just a few times in that years, and btw sex was terrible, bad erections and premature ejaculations.
It took me something like 80 days to discover that my dick could work again. Now i'm not completely healed but i can have good sex and enjoy it.

I was PIED for about forty days. I had been a regular user for sixteen years on the computer, and magazines before that, stretching back to my teens. I could not get an erection with my wife, but now I can. I have to say though that alcohol played a part: I realised that I could no longer down half a bottle of red wine and expect an erection at my age - 51!

 

I'm 18 and have PIED. I heard it takes longer for it to go away when you have been PMOing during puberty, which I did, and is that true?

I only just begun my NoFap journey, and only yesterday did I wake up with a morning erection, 4 days in.

I was able to get erect using only my imagination just an hour ago. I did not masturbate, I just wanted to see if I could get it up on imagination alone at this time, so I know it's working.

So PIED can be beat, although I have a feeling I'll be taking flaccidity for granted at the 30 day mark.

 

Yeah, but you should not use your imagination for that. It's not as bad as porn, but it is not sex neither. You'll end up being in the situation that you have to "imagine" all kinds of things when you have sex. And good sex is when your concentration is on what is happening a foot in front of your nose, where the actions is!

 

This is only to beat PIED. I'm already close to a point where I don't even need to think about sex to get hard...that was my biggest concern when I began NoFap.
