Yes, that's exactly my point. We have progressed so much in terms of medicines and technology, and yet most of us don't realize that most of the things we do is either by habit or by addiction or by desire. Very few things are done voluntarily after conscious and rational thinking. It's frustrating if you think about it.

 

I don't think anything can be right or wrong when it comes to opinions. I feel that mom's intent was to make me focus on studies rather than women. My ideals have deviated a lot from what my mom taught me. But the main thing to note is that she didn't mean any harm, and was heavily influenced by the traditional beliefs which I don't follow.
But that doesn't change the fact that I made a decision which potentially saved me.

I'm not trying to be a jerk here but it's seems very funny to me. Just don't let any nude photo of any girl make you relaspe as you're probably gonna regret it. You'll need to use your will power to stop yourself from masturbating. You are lucky at least you have not started to suffer from any sort of problems induced by excessive masturbation like in my case. Best of luck.

I didn't study though. But if I'm happier pursuing my hobbies, I don't really care that much about women. I just want peace of mind in my life.

 

I was studying really hard. Until I didn't. Because the depression, anxiety, and addictions swallowed me. My focus was wrong.

Maybe you should try meditation. It's been proven by psychologists to help relieve depression and anxiety. I play the Michael Sealey channel on YouTube to help me get to sleep at night.

 

The best way to deal with this is to develop a standard reply and when that moment happens, you copy and paste it to them. I've had to do it and it was along the messages like this.

"I am trying to become more modest. I do not approve of you sending me nude pictures because I am not married to you. Stop this at once otherwise I will share your picture with your family about all the stuff that you're doing."

It has worked like a charm. She stopped sending pictures and saved her own marriage. PS: the reason I say copy paste because when you are typing to that person then ur brain gives you 400 reasons not to convey that message. But when you copy paste, its quick and easy and no time to think and you get what you need to do to stay safe.
