I am a 17 year old student and i am trying to stop PMO and turn my life to the better. It all started around 1 year and four months ago when I had a week long holiday and I crossed lines I regret crossing. After that it became a habit everytime i feel anxious,bored and stress it was my escape.I tried to search the side effects of masturbation but every corner I search it says it is beneficial for me and I took those words but as time progressed I saw changes in me I knew was from this bad habit I developed. I wanted to change I filled my schedual so it wouldnt happen ever again but I fell again and it felt impossible. I wasnt supposed to fight this habit but instead change it to something I will not regret doing. It is really hard trying to do this in a society which thinks that masturbation is good but we Fapstronauts have experienced the horrendous effects first hand.

The guilt I feel after each time I masturbate is unbearable and I wonder and keep asking myself Is this what you want to really be. I look into the mirror and I see a man that need to change and tame his urges.

At the moment I am almost going to finish day 10 and i am excited for the long journey ahead. It is gonna be a hard journey but it is a journey worth taking.
