Do any of these break my streak? I don't want to restart over silly things

Today I was searching for a video on the human body (a specific video that I wanted to see) that was not related to porn in any way. Because I must have typed it in a way that might sound/look like adult content, on Search (Google)a porn website appeared - I did not press the link. Would that count as me going on the website?

I was on YouTube and I saw a woman in a bikini (again, unintentionally) - does that count as breaking the NoFap rules?

I am a bit "extra" when it comes to certain rules and I try to follow rules to the letter. I understand NoFap rules consists of not masturbating and not viewing any type of porn - I did not do any of the stuff that would break my streak. Could I still continue my streak?

I haven't masturbated or viewed any type of porn (video or images of nude) - today is Day 7. I want to continue my streak, and I WILL, but with thoughts that I have broken my streak (when I haven't) is annoying me.

If it is unintentional and it didn't lead to MO, then you're fine. But be careful. Your own mind will try to trick you into thinking you accidentally googled that image. Always be honest with yourself!

No, it didn't lead to MO - I didn't even click on the link to the website to begin with - it was on Google (because I typed something completely irrelevant to adult content but I worded it wrong. Thank you for your help, napionder.

Agreed. It is important to be honest with yourself. Only you know your true intentions. Also, no one is here to judge you, we are here to support one another, so if you decide you need to start over, don't kick yourself. Just get back up, dust yourself off and continue down the road to freedom.

Thank you all for your support, but I think you misunderstood the question. I didn't go onto the website and my intentions were not to look at porn or nude women - my intentions were to watch a video not related to porn or nude women but with the human body - but because I worded it wrongly/or because the title of the video (which came up on Google) was similar to what I typed in. I didn't masturbate/look at porn videos or images and my intentions were not to look at porn or masturbate. Can I continue my streak?

(NB: I didn't masturbate or look at porn but I ask because I am a bit "extra" to be honest.) And technically I didn't break the NoFap rules but I am asking to be on the safe-side.

Maybe less worrying about your counter and more getting on with other things in life. Honestly it's inane to worry about stumbling into things on the internet ; shit happens occasionally. Get yourself a porn blocker. Consciously avoid the stuff. Stop fantasizing.

Remember the bloody counter isn't going to cure you. Your entire mentality has to change. Be honest with yourself.

A more powerful idea in my opinion is to dump the counter. Stop hanging onto each day. Say you're going to quit and quit. There is no 60 day goal. There's a life with porn in it or not. I see so many people in this stupid cycle just counting the days doing nothing; don't be one of them.

Well put Eagersalmon. I do have to say though, that in the early stages it is nice to have a goal of a certain amount of days as a tool for motivation. Definitely don't live and die by the counter, but if you choose to use it or to have a goal for 60 days or whatever use it for what it is. It is just a tool to help the ultimate goal of a change in lifestyle.

The question is, were you aroused by the image, and did you look at it intentionally. If you look at "Technically Not P" while "Technically Not M" and "Not O, but close to it" for 3 hours a day, then you haven't improved.

I can't really say what is and is not porn for you. I personally am trying to fight arousal addiction, and am worried about accidentally over-sensitizing myself, and I have had issues with "Technically not P." The issue isn't exposed skin, but how the woman in the image is portraying herself, and more importantly, how you react to it.

I am of the opinion that, if are going to see women wearing "X" in real life in non-sexualized contexts, then you should try to view images of women wearing "X" as not being sexual. In other words, you live in America or Europe, you should view images women in bikinis as images "women who happen to be swimming", rather than "soft porn." Now, that being said, if you can't view images of women in bikinis without being aroused, then don't look at bikini pics.

@Eagersalmon: that is true! It's not about the counter or whatever I should be worried about - I should be more worried about stopping masturbation and porn (currently on Day 7). As octonacho said, it's nice to have a goal, my final goal is not to reach 60 day without porn or masturbation, it's to stop porn and masturbation forever - the 60-day counter is just to remind me where I am. Thank you for your comment.

@Anon82: I didn't look at porn - I was on Google (on Search) and the URL for a porn website was on Search but I didn't click it. It's okay because I didn't click it; it was just my thoughts playing with me :/ - I will continue my streak - thank you, anyway.
