Hello everyone, this thread is for us to name some of the best performances we've ever seen by actors oor actresses.

I can definately relate to the dicaprio comment, that guy can act

 

Yeah, it was pretty heavy. I dont watch it often because of that.

 

I mentioned this in another thread, but James McAvoy in Split. Easily the best acting I've ever seen.

 

Also russell crowe in a beautiful mind and daniel day lewis in there will be blood

Jack Nicholson in the shining and a few good men.
Robin Williams in mrs. doubtfire and good will hunting.
Julia Roberts in Erin brockovich.
Bradley cooper in American sniper.
Denzel Washington in flight.
Tom Hanks in forest gump.
All of the above mentioned.

 

Liam Neeson in Schindler’s List in this scene:

It’s such a powerful scene where he’s completely transformed from a war profiteer to a total humanitarian. Where he sees what’s truly valuable vs what isn’t and how now he would be willing to give the shirt off his back to save another life. The saddest part is you feel that he will be forever haunted by the possibility that he could have saved more lives had he not been so concerned with material things and monetary gain.

 

Ji Changwook and Ha Jiwon in Empress ki



Favorite Korean/Asian drama ever. Ji changwooks character went from a innocent, awkward teen to a powerful Chinese emperor who went insane from the stress of his position and authority. Ha Ji Won was a poor peasant and a bandit, who turned into a virtuous woman, and eventually, the empress of China.
