It's almost a month since I opened the site and it's not because I slipped up. It's just, I've been busy. I'm not going to arrogantly say, I've been to busy to masturbate but setting my focus on the things I want to achieve (the things I know are within my reach) has pushed me forward. In the next few days, I would have reached the 100-day mark without visiting a porn site or touching myself. Now I'm very aware of how easy it can be for one to slip up, I did over 200 days before and had to start again. I think my biggest lesson from all this, is not to put too much pressure on myself. Some people might call it, "not giving a f@$K!" but depression is one of the big triggers. There are other things I would love to achieve, like being able "to talk to girls" or stay away from prostitutes. I'm not perfect but I take what I can get. Even if it's taking a cold shower, making my bed or finishing a client's job on time. These small victories, I appreciate them because all I have to do is take a look back and see, I've come a long way. I'm not the man I used to be.
glad you posted, as i needed this today well done on your journey brother, you can do this keep up those small wins
That's a good point. Need to release some "happy chemicals" [dopamine; doing an activity we enjoy] or do something for others = contentment-happiness.
Hey man, thanks for posting congrats on 100 days. I’m trying to focus on small achievable goals rather than just large goals right now too.
yah i can relate a lot to what you said. the only way to kill an addiction is by replacing it with new good habits
