    Hi All

I hope you are all well and winning on your journeys.

I have decided to begin a journey to a porn free existence today. In the past 10 years I have maybe gone a month maximum without returning to porn. I feel it is a real problem in my life. I have made headway with it. I am no longer the 2 hours plus a day porn viewer but I still do not go more than 24 hours without looking and I find my self in a state of anxiety most of the time.

I really hope this community can help me reach the 90 day rebooting goal.

We are all here to help man. The journey is only going to be hard If you make it trust me. I went years telling myself that I was going to quit but In the back of my mind I knew that I wouldn't. Then one day I told myself I was going to quit and never let a negative thought come to my mind and I have yet to have a urge to go back to my past life yet. It feels great when you attack your addiction with a positive mind because with a positive mind set you can do anything you wish to accomplish

Welcome and congrats on taking the step of posting here. I think you'll find a lot of great people with great advice who are willing to share their successful methods with you. Expect this to take some work. Expect two steps forward and one step backwards at times. But 90 days (or 1000) is attainable for everyone. Good luck to you and wishing you peace.

  5. I would generally disagree. I have yet to find a single person would say that this journey is anything but difficult.

So are you saying that you didn't use any tools? You just decided to quit and that was it?

@BreatheDeeply I mean of course is is difficult but only if you make it. You can sit around all day in a negative mindset which is what most of us here do and that is why it is difficult for most of us but if we embrace the good and stay positive. Yes the urge will come but it will not be difficult because we only have positive vibes in our heads. Yes I used tools. I used Napoleon Hills PMA tool and I also read a book on the subject. Id recommend you read it to its really insightful. David Baldwin: Why You Should Never Masturbate

Thanks for clarifying. I think your experience has been different from mine, so we'll agree to disagree. I've tried to be very positive during my recovery, but have had great difficulty anyway. That hasn't prevented me from working towards what I want anyway.

Good luck to you and 31 days is excellent!
