I like 90s hip hop but there is some new shit that's pretty good actually. It went shit for a while now it's got good again.

Quite a few black guys, haha, obviously, but I can't remember names but their cool as fuck. Post Malone is impressive too. Nah not into Eminem.

I make that judgement based on the big hits on MTV Australia dance channel which does play a fair bit of hiphop which is good. Im starting to like it again. Hiphop definitely went to the shit for a lon time with that RnB bullshit. "Rap n Bullshit"

But Nikki Minage, yeah id tap that.

 

Dude Nikki Minaj is actually really good. She’s one of my favs for style, power and attitude.

Regina Spektor like Alicia Keys she's a trained classical pianist. I guess you could say her music is piano-based pop.
Ingrid Michaelson is indie pop.
Sufjan Stevens is pretty hard to categorise since he has a variety of styles including folk, pop and electronica.
Mat Kearney is a rapper but different from most rappers. I guess if Coldplay were to make a hip hop album they would sound like him. He also sings in some of his songs - he switches from singing and rapping.
