  2. Can't say for sure you lost all benefits but since the streak that you were on was not very long, benefits aren't that much.

    Hello brother,

I, too, am uncertain whether you lose all benefits (I do not think so), and if you do, it does not matter. I cannot list all the benefits of NoFap, the list is too long, but you do not have to worry about that.

You relapsed, huh? Me too. :( That's alright, but if you keep trying, whatever benefits were 'lost' will return as well. The important thing is getting back up, and don't worry about the benefits. They will come in their own time. Just remember something. Why are you stopping PMO? Because it is ruining your life, yeah? And by coming to NoFap, you realise that it is time for a change, and you are trying. That is all that matters. :) The benefit of trying is the most important one. You are getting your life back, gradually, and it will be meaningful. Isn't that beautiful?

    Keep fighting, my soldier. :)

12 days is a great streak, but there’s still a way to go. Relapsing once will not make you lose everything, unless you go on a binge. Get your head back in place and get back to your streak.

You should reset your counter regardless, but as having a “streak”, for me, helps not wanting to throw it away, maybe keep 2 counters. One for the day 1 today and one with the old count, if it helps you stop.

Having been an addict for nearly 20 years, my personal experience has been that anything less than 30 days puts me right back under the wheel of the bus. Relapse basically means you never routed out the addiction in the first place. Beware of Post Acute Withdrawal Symptoms (PAW) as this is the way our body/mind tricks us into gratifying the addiction, once that happens you've relapsed.

Depending on how long you've been addicted to PMO, you may experience a variety of symptoms over different time spans. You may expect to experience one or more of the following:

30 days is my record of no mo. 14 days is my record not looking at P. I relapsed last week and went I guess you could say on a mini binge. I used pmo about 4-5 times In two days.

I started again to feel like crap!! It has been 5 days and I’m still feeling like crap. I was actually starting to feel really good on day 13 or so and I haven’t made it past 14 without looking at P. Hopefully that will be all over now. I’m still waiting on my no pmo benefits to return ...

Yes, after a relapse you’re back to square one. That’s why relapsing is EXTREMELY dangerous and that’s why you have to be EXTREMELY disciplined !

@treborn You have to make a final decision that you value your health, your relationships, and ultimately your future more than you desire porn. Quitting can be a process (you walk in victory, then you fall, then you walk in victory) but I think we need to make it a once and for all thing; just give up and cry out to God.

Forget the superpowers my friend. You are in this for the survival of your soul, your mental peace, and the sanctity of your body. Just press on and be the person God intended you to be, that is clean, pure, and complete. Porn wars against the soul, muddles peace of mind, and weakens the body.

i dont know why but from last 2-3 days my mind completely fighting with me for PMO...i was totally afraid that something bad is going to happen...and yes....it happened today as i was alone in my home and cannot control my urge for porn and desperately watched Porn and then i relapsed today after 23 days, feeling guilty from then.....i was on my first 30 days challenge.

it was very great experience of without PMO from a heavy PMO addicted... before this challenge i was PMO addicted for 6 years.....but now i can truly say , yes i can do it.. i am going to start 30 days challenge again from now.

@pintya You may fall down several times while trying to practice abstention, but if you commit 100% to letting porn go forever, you will overcome. Decide today whether you want to pursue a pure and blameless life, or serve the violent taskmaster of addiction. Please beware that this addiction is an addiction. That may sound tautological but the truth is you are an addict going through withdrawal just like a drug addict or compulsive gambler.

I don't agree with you. In the streak we do a lot of progress in our lives and we also progress In the recovery so relapsing will take you back but you will still have some of the benfitsb

In that sense yes we don't lose progress. But relapsing still feeds the PMO addiction in the brain which brings back the urges and all that wack-ass shit.

Interested in where you got the chart from. It looks about right with the PAWS symptoms where I am right now. Gosh are they awful but will be happy when I push through these next few months ..
