I know it is hard to accept it right now but IMO talking to a counselor would be the best thing you can do. Many times people try to fight their problems alone since they are ashamed of them and that is a major mistake. The first step of solving a problem is admitting you have it. I understand you completely, I have been in a similar situation but you shouldn't hide from your parents, they can do only good for you ! Best of luck, I am sure you will be much better soon and I am waiting you to confirm it !

  3. I started this journey away from porn this January. The number one thing the counselor had me do at the beginning was tell him what I've been looking at and doing. Getting all that garbage out in the open was the first step in liberation.

I advise that you DO NOT tell your parents EVERY little detail of what you've been watching. But do tell them that you've been struggling with porn and need help. The desire to hide the problem only makes the problem stronger.

I tried for years to do it by myself and denied that I needed any help. That only kept me in bondage for decades. Get help from others. Believe me, it's the only way to fight this thing. Just be careful what you share. Start out sharing generally and only share with those that genuinely care for you and that you know can help you. Don't just share with anyone. Some people can be very callous and mean when it comes to porn addiction.

I know I have serious problems I even have very very strong HOCD.I told my mother that I have anti social problems and that I am fighting with it.About HOCD I don't want to talk about it.Its a very sensitive subject not that I am afraid its because it can get even more hard. I am not crying for help I just need somehow to explain to my family that I have control and that I am changing(which is true) even have a book about how to improve social skills(if someone is interested book is called "How to Win Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie) yes it really helps but still because of PMO I have anxiety .I started to read book about recovering addiction from Noah B.E. Church .Really I am not afraid I just don't want to share that's all.Sometimes some battles is better fought alone....

Best thing is to take your parents help. I am sure they will be able to understand your problem and take care of you.
