You probably not actually ugly. Being without a relationship for a long time can definitely make you think you are defective in some way, though! I haven't been in a relationship in 9 years. I think I'm kind of plain, not either particularly handsome or ugly, but I am a bit overweight, and my nose is a little crooked from being broken twice. You're probably not ugly, but simply giving off an "unavailable" or otherwise negative vibe. I've been told before that people thought I was married, but I'm a never-married virgin! So, try to get some feedback from family and friends on what you can improve.

Work on yourself, and hopefully a good person will come around. I understand the feeling of "there's no one out there for me!" and wanting to give up hope. Don't give up! If you are into PMO (I'm guessing because you joined this site) it definitely hurts your confidence, charisma, motivation, and happiness, all things needed to attract a partner, so I suggest going for a "reboot" by abstaining from PMO.
