I've tried doing this but it requires a back up email with a password and I haven't got anyone involved so they can put theirs instead of mine so I just uninstalled it

 

Can anyone suggest a good p blocker for an android phone? One which can work.if you don't have someone onhand as a significant other with a different email and password?

 

This. I like to know one as well. I know of one but it has to be rooted and I can't nor want to on a new phone I got

You can configure your router, then just type a random password so you don’t remember it. It’s not fool proof but it’ll work on your home network.

 

What about the phone

 

If your phone is connected to your home WiFi network it’ll work on your phone as well

 

If you are anything like me, you will ALWAYS find a way around blockers, filters, etc. I had to reach a point where I realized I had to be the one not going to the P-sites in the first place. Blockers and filters are great when I accidentally click a Chive link and keeps me from going down a rabbit hole but if I really wanted to look at P, I'll find a way.

I agree with you back when I had a one-year long streak I never had no filter on my computer or phone and I went a whole year. Now that I wan to try nofap again and installed filters and restrictions but it didn't matter because I got around that whenever I felt like doing it.

 

Only while on wifi, not using mobile data.

And it is pretty easy to go around. But as @Freefaller just said, a block shouldn't be your sole defense anyways, you'll find a way around it.
