I mean, i don have trans feelings last time but now i have, now i will constantly think abt being a girl but i am not like this last time. The thoughts disappear after i masturbated but it comes back again after a few days. Anyone has this experience of porn screw with their identity? I am sure i don have this type of feelings last time and only have it since a few years ago.

Can watching porn make you trans? Not bloody likely. If this were true then millions of men on this planet would be trans. I'd like to suggest that what you are experiencing is a completely groundless irrational fear.

  3. I think the phrasing of can it "make you trans" would be tough to say yes to, but absolutely porn can screw with your sexuality and sexual/gender identity. I've experienced that myself as well, and lots of other people here have, too.

I would say, like most things, the best thing to do is a) think about whether or not you had these feeling pre-porn (if possible), and b) stop watching porn and masturbating. Give it some time of complete abstinence and then see if those feelings are still there once your mind is a bit clearer.

One thing someone here said once that really made sense to me was this: you are not made to be watching other men having sex with women. Its unnatural. You are made to have sex with women, but you aren't made to be watching other men do that. So of course it will mess with your head. Even if you are focusing on the woman in porn, you're still seeing a lot of other things that you were never meant to see, and adding masturbarbation to that is associating those things with sexuality as well, which makes things even more confusing. I think that's why a lot of people end up having homosexual feelings after watching a lot of porn. If you watch a man having sex enough times, and masturbate to that, with all the sounds that accompany that, your brain is going to start to associate that sight with sexuality.

I think the same thing can happen with gender dysphoria. I've had a lot of dysphoric feelings since PMOing that I never had before, and while i have always been bisexual, my attraction for the same sex has definitely gone up a LOT since watching porn.

So yes, its absolutely possible that watching a lot of porn can give you gender dysphoria. I highly doubt any doctor will tell you that, because it's not politically correct (this makes some trans people feel invalidated, because they feel like you're telling them their feelings aren't real). But your doctor probably also wont tell you that porn is unhealthy either, and we all know that's not true. In my personal experience, and the experience of many other people here, and just using my logical brain and my knowledge of psychology, I would say absolutely yes, porn can cause gender dysphoria.

I doubt it can make you grow sexual organs you don't have but it sure can make you all kinds of screwed up in the head.

  5. There are tons of threads on Homosexual Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. These people go into detail about how their porn habit lead to homosexual thoughts and interest in tran gay or trans porn when they never had any gay inclinations before. Some of them even hooked up with the same sex or Transvestites. Staying away from porn allows your brain to rewire and go back to its default state and some of these guys stated their urges went away after a reboot.

what if after abstaining for some months and i still have these feelings? i don wan to have these feelings.

  9. Yes, it appears a lot of the male to female trans are a result of porn addiction. If you read trans forums many will say that their feelings of gender dysphoria were triggered by porn escalation. They don't even know they're addicted or that these feelings aren't natural. Conclusion - don't watch porn.

  10. I would say that theres no use worrying about that right now. But, if you do, I would recommend seeking therapy at that point.

  12. PMO can make you trans and question everything about your sexuality? I wonder what else it impacts in a person...

If you have a predisposition in you to be trans then you will become one.

It doesn't have anything to do with porn. It is the same as weed can make you have schizophrenia but not because it is caused by weed but because there was a predisposition in the head and weed triggered it.

I watch mostly anal, foot fetish porn for 22 years in quite huge quantities and it didn't make to like guys anuses, or gay porn or transgendered person porn or trans porn or whatever similar. I am just the same guy as I used to be and the same things turn me on as 22 years ago, also when I have a woman I love her and I also like her ass and feet as that's my fetish and they are alright with it. My porn addiction hasn't made me to like additional unusual parts or think unusually about myself.

I am quite defined on who I am and it never changed throughout the years. Of course, I am not proud of my childhood traumas they made me to be addicted, but I am still a good person in my heart. I genuinely want to get rid of this porn lifestyle and will do everything I can to get rid of it. But first I need to get rid of my loneliness and raise my own self-love as that is probably the underlying issue of watching porn.

What do u mean? U mean i already have the trans identity hidden inside myself and porn trigger it? So what u mean is porn has nothing to do with it?

  16. No, you’re not trans from the get go. He’s saying that some are more prone to certain symptoms than others. PMO can make someone feel trans while it won’t affect another person at all. It’s just how we are each individually built. Another way of looking at it is someone has a higher chance of being trans compared to another pmo user. So, yes, your P usage could have something to do with it, if you’re an individual that is prone to being trans, I think you just need to reflect and be honest to yourself, I’m not saying you are or not but the best person to figure that out for you is you.

  17. Umm no. 'trans' is a new trendy affliction that people are all the sudden getting - there can be other reasons/explanations for this feeling. The brain can mix up desires and needs -someone can over eat for comfort or confuse/meld sexual needs with others - sexual needs -in the mind ' - fantasy- can be the brain's way of showing your needs...
Women often have rape fantasies. that does NOT mean they are going to or want to be raped...
I agree that 'weed' can have that effect on people but there are other things someone with a 'predispostion can do to avoid activating that condition. If someone has fair skin - if they over expose themselves to the sun there is a good change they will get skin cancer but if they take precautions they won't - it's not a fate they are doomed to.

    a lot of good information here;

It's time to distinguish 'sexual orientation' from reversible 'sexual tastes'

"The bulk of scientific evidence currently favors the view that the origins for most sexual desires are not cultural but innate." —Leon F. Seltzer

Such statements mislead people that all sexual inclinations are created equal and are immutable. This is simply not true.

Yes, genitals quite often fire up without our commanding them. Yet researchers have shown that mammals can be conditioned (and sometimes reconditioned) to adjust their sexual response with surprising ease. Even humans have managed to increase or suppress penile erection or vaginal pulse in the lab when offered monetary reinforcement and/or instructional feedback.

  18. I just want to be clear here, but a transgender is when a guy feels like a women trapped in a man’s body and vice versa, correct?

  19. That's not true at all. Please stop spreading lies.

  20. Good for you. Your personal experience does not speak for everyone else. Just because you haven't had issues like that doesnt mean that it doesnt happen. There have been TONS of posts on here regarding sexual orientation confusion and gender confusion from people who had never had those feelings before porn, and their feelings have gone away after abstaining form porn. It absolutely happens. You can't say that doesnt happen when it has happened dozens of times on this very site.
