NoFap link with prostate cancer??

Just another old wives tale to get you fapping. The opposite is true if you ask me. Wet dreams, which your body will give you during nofap are just as good of a prostate cleanse.

 

I cannot find the logic with the statement. If that's really the case, our male ancestors should all be dead because of prostate cancer and we wouldn't be here.

It all started with some BS bias study that claims masturbation can REDUCE the chance of prostate cancer to some extent. It doesn't mean the lack of masturbation inflicts prostate cancer. There are many things out there that can kill you before prostate cancer can get to you.

There are famous people out there who openly admit that they practice semen retention like Mike Tyson, Terry Crews, Steve Jobs, etc. I would rather stay with nofap, fight for my goals, become successful, get rich and famous, contribute to society and die with prostate cancer than do nothing but fap to a pixels on a monitor all day long, alone and depressed.

 

@Phantompoint, I do not think the study I quote in the thread I mentioned (this one) is bullshit. And to your specific point, our male ancestors masturbated.

I think we should be aware of the (very slight risk, if there is one) rather than shouting "bullshit" and sweeping it under the carpet. We can still choose to take that risk, as you and I are, but it is good to have the facts without the ideological zealotry.

 

I agree that our male ancestors masturbated. However, I highly doubt that our ancestors have access to high speed internet that allows them to masturbate five times a day seven days a week.

I said they are BS because I am very skeptical on those reports. Masturbation does not make you immune from PCa and how effective ejaculation can prevent prostate cancer is still not conclusive. Even your citations have conflicting conclusions.

Moreover, I think you have completely mistaken two critical points. Let me kindly remind you that ejaculation does not equal to masturbation. The studies you cited, except for one, clearly refer to the term ejaculation and not masturbation. We all know that in the world of nofap, we seek to eliminate P>M>O, orgasm through masturbation with porn. Ejaculation through sex is completely acceptable unless you are doing hard mode or monk mode. If you can achieve a healthy state through sex, then the need to masturbate diminishes. Secondly, in light of some of the reports you cited in your thread, they only say frequent ejaculation can play a beneficial role in preventing PCa, they did not say the lack thereof causes prostate cancer. It's like a vaccine can effectively reduce the chance getting sick, it doesn't mean the lack of it will get you sick.

I see you expressed yourself "morally and emotionally against porn" and that giving up masturbation will only ever be a tool for you. It is your freedom and decision to do that, I am just here to tell Charlie78 that NoFap does not CAUSE prostate cancer.
