I think getting her number will be a good thing actually. It will step you out of your comfort zone, and that is something that you gotta do. So I say go for it. Getting her number doesn't automatically mean you'll get in her pants..So you still have a choice which route you want to take the relationship as in being friends or more than friends.

Another thing is that, reaching your counter to 200+ days to 300+ or whatever days, shouldn't be the goal this time, the goal is to keep exploring different areas of life. One of which is again stepping out of your comfort zone, getting a phone number and seeing where things go.
