What is the earliest someone can recover from porn if they have been addicted for 12 or so years?

I'm guessing 2-3 years recovery time?

I've been an addict for 14 years and never experienced PAWS or PIED. Even tho I've watched the worst of the worst kind of porn towards the end.
You know I think the "repair" time so to speak depends highly on how your life looks like besides your addiction. Consider this, we all don't actually know how it feels like when our brains are cured from the porn addiction. We maybe kinda remember how it felt like as kids, but now we're adults and life feels different either way. My point is that there's a danger of chasing the perfect repaired state and never being quite happy with how things are, simply because we have false expectations and actually don't know how a sexually healthy adult is supposed to feel like.

So I wouldn't concentrate on how long it's gonna take. Just concentrate to improve yourself compared to who you were yesterday. Every day until you die. The right changes will happen automatically.

Start with the 90 days. Who knows, it might be enough :)

Hope so! Can severe cases (like mine of 13 years) with a small numb dick really just bounce back that quickly??

We're all different. What works for one might not work for another and vise versa. The sure thing is that you will feel much better after 90 days of nofap. Now, there is a cost. Again, speaking from my own experience, so it could be different for you, but life is sometimes scarier when you don't have your porn to run back to when you're under stress. But building the courage to face these challenges is what this is about. And the thrill from knowing you have that courage is longer-lasting than any porn-session thrill.

Now, what exactly is your goal I don't know. When you say "bounce back" what do you really mean? Perhaps you won't achieve perfection in 90 days, but you'll definitely be much better. Just as zenaf said: "Just concentrate to improve yourself compared to who you were yesterday." I'll add that having a 90day goal helps a lot.

    Good luck, brother.

2-3 years is a long fucking time. I think 6 months to a year, but 6 months to feel good again, and then the rest for more psychological benefits

I believe six months tops to get the feeling of well-being back in our lives. Most others have said PIED symptoms have gone away on about that time. The issue I see is the ones that are going on a year flatline never divulge if they were lapsing or not which screw later with a lot of people. Over a year is excessive for not ever lapsing ..
