Same boat here man. I have broken a bit of the social anxiety and have been dating but the PIED is my problem as well. I know it’s easier said than done but the MO is gonna have to stop too. I’ve stopped for five months, hard mode, but the PIED symptom is really going to take some time. A lot of people say you gotta reworn that part from nobody sexual experience but I think everything comes back again. Patience is meeed the most, although you probably don’t want to hear that either.

How old are now and when did you start PMO...

  2. I have testosterone level 26 nnml is a very high level for my age. For three years without pmo just sex with girlfriend but it does not just go with drugs. Nothing changed in three years, with no random erections, only night erections, with the awakening of my dick is dead. No porn 3 years .. I do not believe in healing in severe cases does not work .. But I do not go back to porn.

Meditation hurting people...? Whaaaaaat? No...not true!

  6. It can happen in some cases of kundalini awakening and/or unguided yoga breathing exercises. But if we talk about Hatha Yoga (the athletic exercises) and simple meditation (like Vipassana), you can hurt your mind much easier by regularly going to church and listening too many hellfire preachings...

    That's very true!

  8. I hope you guys notice you two not = everybody else, so even if you have not noticed any bad side effects that does not mean others too. Saying that hatha yoga is an athletic exercise is the real bullshit. It was invented to change how the human nervous system work, to achieve somekind of "enlighment". Running, jumping, throwing etc. these are athletic exercises! Yoga? No no, anyone who says yoga is an athletic exercises is a lier, no more.

Btw if you want to meditate, you got free will. But i promise you something, it will be a lot harder to get rid of pmo addiction if you keep meditating. Your life, your choice, but please be wise what you really want.

Then why does YBOP say that exercise and meditation helps the dopamine receptors? Where are you getting your information from?

I'm 36 this year. I started PMO when I was around 16 - before that it was only the occasional PMO mainly to pictures in magazines.

I think the turning point was in 2010 where PMO habit turned from slowish Internet experience to a sideshow experience where the pics changed every 7 seconds! My life also got worse, so there was the depression and stress factor too.

  11. That good question, maybe they do not know everything yet, me neither. Addiction not only about dopamine receptors, that sure. Meditation changes how the brain works, how the brain parts communicate with each other. The question is, is this change really good for our pmo addiction brain, or any "healthy brain"? Or those changes will hinder our recovery from pmo addiction?

There are three possiblity, you guys are right, and meditation is best thing someone can do for recovery from pmo addiction, or im right, and you two doing something that harm you in long term. Or maybe we both of us wrong, and it does not matter at all.

I feel your pain brother. All i can say for us heavy addicts even one M can slow down the progress. Do not give up, i started to get really good days after 8 month hard mode (with still bad days ofcurse). btw i started watching p as 11 years old, for 14 years nearly everydays + virtual world addictions. If i can recover, everyone else too.

Definitely stop relapsing as the symptoms will only get worse. That was my turning point too at that time when I got the apple iPhone and then you can start watching anything you want.

I was so overweight five months ago I looked horrible. All happy and tranced from the dopamine, draining myself, lost most my hair, eating whatever I liked. Than began my online shopping binging and started buying one thing after another. I was on my way to borderline diabetes and high blood pressure. Just destroying myself slowly. This was on its way to killing me I know that for sure now.

Never going back unless I want to end up Six feet under... Stay positive, easier said than done, but you will get better soon.

  13. I cannot confirm this, no idea, where you got this kind of information from. I am addiction free anyway.

  14. If you haven't developed any serious blood vessel diseases and have a normal blood circulation and is healthy, you do not have to worry about your errection.

I remember I paused watching porn and masturbation anytime I went to school and when I came back home I will have flatline for like 2 weeks or more and get my errection back. I didn't know what was happening but that was recovery taking place.

You see most of you who have been on the nofap (no porn of any sort, soft or hard and no masturbation, no imaginative sexual thing what so ever) for months are probably healed, the only problem now is removing the fear of performance from your mind. It all a mind thing now. Stop worrying, eat well, exercise and go out more often.

I repeat if you have a healthy blood circulation system and have stayed away from porn (watching women on the streets counts) and masturbation for a time enough for your brain to reboot, you will get all your sexual strength back, if not then the problem is deeper, maybe you have blood circulation problem, or another disease you have to work on.

    God help us

Are you saying we should also avoid looking at real women?? Come on!

  16. Congratulations my friend! I've gotta say that I've had many experiences with women in which I couldn't get a boner(none at all), so we went for a walk instead... you can't imagine how embarrassing it is...

  17. Yes, in the recovery stage, you have to deny the brain from awakening to have urges

I dont have any urges with porn. It's no associated with misery for me.

  19. Great so if your blood circulation system is good, your heart is in good shape and your brain successfully reboots, you wouldn't have any problems with erections.

I think they are, but I'm afraid it's not as simple as that.

Because my testosterones levels have defintley reduced sharply - I no longer get that 'pump' at the gym.

There is also the psychological aspects of my lacks of erections.
