35 and Older Accountability Group

    Checking in, Day 150 today!
    The new system is going well for me. I feel that I have found my balance.
    I still need to stay vigilant though during my 6 days a week.
    Extremely busy at work, probably won't be checking in for the next week.
    Stay strong my siblings!
     
  2. back to zero. M'd this morning. Stupid. But still no P which is great.
     
  3. Checking in day 60! I beat my personal record of 57 days and now I'm carrying on with this journey. Sorry for not being present here for a while, feeling really sick with some nasty cough.

    Well done on the 60 days!

    I'm also on unknown territory passing my personal best streak, now at 48 days.

    This is what this site and the good people here are for, support and encouragement and accountability. Much needed in this world!

    Keep going guys and gals, every day on the counter is another day free!

    Back to 0 which is ok. Can't beat myself up. Going through a tough time. I was able to apply the P filters again which I'm sure will help a lot and I"m psyched about that. Forgot what it's like not having filters set up and I've been going to town the last few days. Forgot how much time I used to waste being home alone and avoiding things I need to do.

    I'm going to try and be serious about this and make it to tomorrow morning with no P.M., sign in and take it from there.

    I'd really love to beat this thing. Hope everyone is staying strong!

    Felt like it wouldn't hurt to check in. Going for a 1 day streak now. Not easy being at home so much, but will try and work from somewhere else tomorrow.

    ok, starting out fresh again, new PMO counter begins tonight at midnight. New game plan goals:
    day 10 - Sat april 21
    day 30 - Sun May 12
    day 50 - Sun June 1
    day 90 - Wens July 10th
    day 120 - Fri - Aug 2nd

  16. Thank you my friend. I have always thought that mindfullness is rather passive but the more i am walking this new way of being, the more I am realizing the strength of its power. I am firm as a mountain when I am paying attention in the present moment...

    Today I almost went down the road that leads to PMO. I've often noticed that there are seemingly benign behaviors that cause a chain of events that make PMO very likely. It's not obvious things like "Me Horny. Want Porn". It's the small things like seeing a woman in public and allowing myself to think 'that's a nice butt' and then go on with my day. I may not even be aware that I'm thinking it, but later I may be stressed out/ procrastinating something and then suddenly I want to go look at some asses online. Boom, abstinence streak over.

    I guess what I'm saying is that there may be small triggers that happen way before we PMO and if we can avoid them or deactivate them then we can set ourselves up for success.

I am firm as a mountain when I take a bit of space between the urge and the action to see where the urge came from and where it goes...

    Agree completely!
    Mindfulness and meditation, they've been my key to NoFap .

    Day 50 for me!! Yahoo! That's my half century up (for those that follow cricket). Next milestone is 60 days!
