I was watching this tv show, Britain's got talent it's called lol. There was this attractive woman on it, not doing anything sexual or anything, and she wasn't wearing anything revealing. But I actually started to feel turned on watching her.

Surely it is ok that I kept watching Britain's got talent?
Should I have been like better turn that off, there's an attractive looking woman on this tv show?

If you are an addict, you should stop watching it.

Bro, you can still watch that show. I love it haha! You know yourself better than any of us do, so do what you think is necessary. Just don't put yourself in a situation to where you think you will cave and P &M

Probably best not discussing that sort of thing on here lol. But yeah I was very attracted to her and started feeling a bit aroused. Surely I don't need to be so strict though that I have to put off a tv show I like?

and no, you don't have to be so strict. You know what you can and can't control. Everyone is different.

I love this type of questions.. No, you didn't relapse and it's totally fine.
You can also watch the series of "50 Shades Of Grey" and it still wouldn't be considered as a relapse
(if you won't edge/masturbate to it of course). Have an awesome day bruh

Open your window for some fresh air.
Detach the cables from your TV.
Grab it and carry it over to your window.
    Throw it out.
Watch it fall and crash on a car on the street.
Thank god for giving you the strength to rid yourself of this evil.

Just over a year ago when I first started this journey I quit: watching TV, watching movies, reading any kind of fiction book. I initially made an exception that I would finish game of thrones 2019 which I will. Then that will be the last TV show I ever watch. I even regret this given the horrible sex scenes which were in the last show and lead to my latest relapse.

My next step is to completely quit YouTube and reading all 'news' websites. Which I did for about 6 months then 'relapsed' this week actually.

Why did I do something so extreme? It's freedom! Hard to explain until you've tried it. All the time that used to go into 'virtual escapism', is now free. I can cook, learn a language, go to the gym. I have honestly never felt better.

Still have huge problems with PMO addiction though :'(
Truer words have never been spoken.

  12. good for u man ! i am myself on a similar path. my personal theory is that all pleasures can be divided into 4 categories- 1) low intensity pleasures, 2) moderate intensity pleasures, 3) high intensity pleasure and 4)highest intensity pleasures. we MUST quit the highest intensity pleasures ( porn, alcohol, drugs etc. ) and also minimise the high intensity pleasures or even quit them completely ( excessive sex, masturbation w/o porn, too much music, too much videogames, social media, tv shows, movies etc. ). the pleasure in category 4 , cause too much desensitisation, category 3 causes desensitisation too but not as bad as cat 4. and category 2 and 1 are the only ones which dont cause desensitisation of the reward circuitry. the pleasures in these categories wud be taking a walk, meeting a friend, meditation, thinking about philosophy and life in general etc. i think that those people who dont experience much difference on nofap are probably engaging in alot of other pleasures from category 3 and 4. so just nofap isn't enough to make the brain sensitive to dopamine again.
    just my 2 cents.

This is a huge debate over users of NoFap.

Some people seem to think that this is some kind of celebrate cult where sex or any kind of sexual feeling is a sin.

Personally I see it as a journey to form your sexuality into a healthy thing that works for you in a positive way.

If you are seeing an attractive female on the TV and become turned on, I’d say that’s a good thing. If however you wanked off over it for 5 hours that’s another story.

Ask yourself what is it you want for your sexuality? I’d say you’re lucky, some guys and girls on here are turned on by things that truly disturb them.

  17. There's this one financial commentator, she's European, cute as a button, comes on late at nite sometimes. There something about how she looks, plus her accent. I had to stop watching that show lol. I get my financial news from the internet now, just to be safe.

One thing I've noticed, is this kind of thing is more likely to happen when you've stopped watching hardcore P for awhile. You have less of a tolerance in a way, so just seeing an attractive woman in semi-revealing clothes can get your attention, just like back in olden times when merely the nape of a woman's neck, or a glimpse of her calves were considered provocative. Just part of the deal I guess.
