[DISCUSSION]: Why Pornography is invested in every field of our life ?

Discussion in 'Off-topic Discussion' started by Deleted Account, May 7, 2019.

  1. Pornography has been growing a lot in every field in our life. Whether in Cinema, Cartoon & Animation, Video games, Advertisements. If we compare the amount of sexual scenes from last 20 years, we will notice a gradual increase of it in all these productions. Also it is not easy to find a (PG) contents or real (PG13) contents nowadays!
Even in Fashion, clothes are becoming more tight & small, and sometimes they include odd words, and that includes kids!

In your opinion, why the companies invest a lot in the sexual contents in their productions ?
Doesn't it promote in Porn Addiction & Sexual harassment ?
Shouldn't be there laws that stop this chaos or decrease from it as it might effect the societies negatively ?

    1) Sex sells.
    2) Yes.
    3) That's one of those questions where the answer will depend of the political views of who's answering. In my opinion, in the case of media as long as it is rated correctly is fine by me. I believe it is the parents' responsibility to protect children from inadequate content and not the state's.

  3. Yep after all the bigger role goes to the parental control, yet it is becoming harder for them to guide their children of this generation. Politics could play a role, But private companies ? I think they found the most profitable method which covers the people needs, people will pay for whatever to get such materials. But in this case it can be just corruption, because if this thing is controlled by proper laws then it will save us against crimes, addictions and health disasters.

  4. Probably because companies keep pushing the envelope when it comes to sexuality and folks demand more and more while nobody complains. Meanwhile no one bats an eye but when something is "censored", people bitch and fucking complain about freedom of speech and blah blah. I mean look at games nowadays, people saying they should allow nudity and full on sex in any game for fucks sake...

You can't escape it as porn has a massive foothold and influence throughout all of Earth's culture today, I mean is it so hard for me to just watch or play something without seeing body parts hanging out? :(

  7. Unfortunately this has escalated a lot for real. Like it is becoming a sort of art to include pornographic content in the Video games and Film production, and the thing is in most of cases, they are pointless, they do not put any meaning to the content.
Maybe they wont make restrictions as long porn addiction is not recognised yet. Otherwise, why it is not treated as drugs and weed ?

  8. Unfortunately this is how it goes, but this will cause a lot of issues to the society. Which should be treated by restriction laws as Copy right laws, Privacy Laws, Drug laws ?
