I know this sounds a little funny but hear me out if animals could watch videos of other animals of the same species have sex would they? And If they would be totally uninterested in such material what does that say about humans?

  2. As a professional in animals I don't think they would watch porn most of them have determined patterns of reproduction so for most of them sex is more a matter of keeping the species alive than a matter of pleasure

Probably not. Just like animals have no interest in watching movies or reading books.

I'd say it says humans are far more complicated than animals. Animals only care about eating, sleeping, exercise and reproducing. Generally, animals don't care for entertainment or love and they certainly don't wonder about what the meaning of life is like human do. I'm pretty sure it's fair to say animals don't have a conscience or a soul.

  8. Haven't studies like this been performed on rats? They hooked electrodes up to the their brains attached to a button that when pressed, gave the same sensation as an orgasm. I remember hearing that they all just repeatedly pressed the button until they eventually starved to death. I could picture monkeys watching porn. They're already capable of shamelessly holding eye-contact with humans while masturbating.:D

  9. The difference is that we are, as you put it, human animals and not like other animals. We are an incredibly social species which is probably what contributes to our porn phenomenon. Just because something might be a natural occurrence in one species of animal does not mean it will happen or be natural in others.

That's actually a really good question. I mean pigs and dolphins have sex for pleasure so it wouldn't be going out on a limb to say they'd enjoy other sexual stimuli. Although the level of intelligence that would require is a terrifying thought. Would the animals being filmed have to get paid? Omg this just brings a whole new level

Humans have mirror neurons in the brain that enable/cause us to identify and relate to others as ourselves. This is why we cry at a sad film and get aroused by porn. These mirror neurons reflect ourselves when we see others. We see dogs as happy or depressed when they show posture and expressions similar to our own. It's how we connect and relate to each other.

Other animals have ways to connect with each other, but because they don't have the same development of mirror neurons, they won't necessarily be "fooled" by flat screen imagery like we are. HOWEVER, animals can be fooled in similar ways but by different means. Male julodimorpha beetles will choose to hump a brightly colored beer bottle over a female of it's species because it's evolved to identify and mate with the reddest and biggest beetle, which the bottle resembles to the male. Small songbirds will sit on large fake eggs over their own natural eggs because they've evolved to protect and nurture the largest eggs for best survival odds. Other species of birds have been known to choose to mate with decoys over their own kind because of similar ideal traits.

Here's a good article that dives a little deeper and relates it to porn: https://www.yourbrainonporn.com/mis...chnology-is-like-bug-sex-supernormal-stimuli/

It depends on what the animals agents have negotiated and if they are in the Screen Actors Guild. ;)

Not all creatures are sexually triggered/aroused by sight. For some it is scent, or pheromones. Aren't some species of birds drawn to mate by song? So not likely that they would find any interest in watching video of their species mating. Unless maybe it was something very narrow and specific similar the beetle example noted above.
I know from practical experience that male domestic cattle are aroused by scent. I don't think they much care who's got the biggest udder. They are game to have a go at whoever is signaling that she is ready.

Animals are not capable of evil. Their too stupid for that. Intelligence is what makes man sin.

I doubt it. I mean, animals already see each other naked all the time. I doubt we'd be as drawn to porn if we all walked around naked.
