Your opinion on Kegel exercices

  1. So, many of us were there. Erectile dysfunction because of porn.
    Before coming to NoFap I was searching the internet for solutions on how to overcome ED. And there are those Kegel exercices. They are supposed to exercice the muscles that close the valves and keep the blood in the penis. Also they are supposed to control the ejaculation. So exercicing those muscles appears to be a solution.
    Also peeing and stop the flow for a few seconds helps.
    I did not really try that and I eventually discovered NoFap.
    What about you?
    Any hints?

    That only helps to identify the muscles that you have to exercise with kegels since stopping the flow frequently might lead to problems in the urinary tract. If your problem is PIED, doing hard mode will eventually heal you. I haven't healed completely, but I am definitely improving.

  5. If you are familiar with Noah B.E. Church, it is recommend to ignore Kegel exercises altogether. I agree with @Bonhart here, and doing hard more is the fastest known way to recover from PIED. I'm at 104 days so far on hardmode and that's all I would recommend doing for rebooting phase before moving on to the rewire phase.

    Kegel exercises may cause a tingling sensation in the groin. This may lead to additional stimulation within. Be wary, as this could lead to edging.
     
  7. Well, I have a wife, that I love and find attractive. We are seperated right now because of my work. I'm with you when talking about Porn and Masturbation but Orgasm? Having good sex with the woman you love and ejaculating, isn't that just all too perfect?

  8. It depends on your situation? Some users have partners but have PIED and can't get it up and have sex, so hard mode works for them until they can reboot and rewire with their other half. Like I say, it's the fastest way to recover.

    Please elaborate on the rewire phase. How should we go about this? What's your plan?

    I've found an app that I'm using. I do them infrequently at the moment. I figured doing hard mode for a while would help before really doing Kegels just to give those muscles a break. Information that is out there seems to suggest that Kegels (regular and reverse) can help with erection and ejaculation though I've have never done them long enough to know.
     
  11. Say you are doing hard mode for example. The first stage would to reboot (NoPMO) then when you have achieved x amount of days (usually 90 days for many users. Longer if you suffer from PIED). The next stage would be to rewire with a partner, but not necessary sex. Kissing, foreplay etc until you can rewire with your partner and regain erections. I'm still at stage one at the moment.
