Soo... its been a year since I last posted and so this as much a new introduction as it is an update.

I'm now 19 years old and single again after my 5 year relationship came to an end two months ago. I have been back to PMOing since merely weeks after my last post, a year ago. After a brief separation from my girlfriend last summer we ended up back together and I went almost straight back to PMOing to deal with the lack of sex in our relationship. PMOing was easier than dealing with the real problems in our relationship and as a result the relationship dragged on for a further year before fizzling out and dying in late May.

Being single again has given me an opportunity to reflect and the motivation to further push myself forward. I spent the last year failing at university due to laziness while drinking and PMOing to avoid my problems. However, the break up has made me realise that it's time to get serious and start making real changes in my life. I have been lifting weights 3 times a week since the beginning of April and will continue with my routine - I now want to try and put on some weight and bulk up. I have also now made a commitment to start playing guitar again, something I haven't done since I was about 11 years old - my aim is to play every day for at least 10 mins but to make an attempt to play for 30 mins to an hour as often as possible. Once back at uni in late September I will have to start taking my work more seriously to get my grades back to where they should be. Underlying these changes, I hope, will be a recommitment to NoFap. I want to finally achieve a 90 day reboot for PMOing and then make a commitment to cut out porn permanently while keeping MOing to a maximum of once per week. To keep myself on track I will start a reboot journal on this forum which I will update weekly on Sundays.

Best of luck to all my brothers (and sisters) on their own NoFap journeys!

    Welcome back!;)
You know..The problem is that you can't keep it like that. I mean, MO is addictive. You don't even need MO. No one needs!

    Thank you brother!

I was expecting someone to say this. You're right that it is far more ideal to cut out MO completely as well. If I return to MOing after I reboot it would only be until I was having regular sex (once a week or more), since I no longer have a girlfriend, and only if I was able to keep it under control. I suspect that once I finally achieve a 90 day reboot my desire will be to continue with no PMO for as long as possible, however, as of yet I have only been able to sustain a reboot for 2 weeks and so at this point in time it is only realistic for me to commit to a 90 day reboot. Once I achieve my goal of 90 days I will reevaluate my NoFap journey.
