Each one of has has a different way to go through in this journey of Nofap. In our healing we can recognize similar patterns, also similar benefits and so on.Now l am at 42 days hard mode. Not refapsed, not edging. Not peeking. But tempted. When it comes to Flatlining l am experiencing something that makes me wonder whether lm passing a flatline in a different way comparing my symptoms to other people's ones. Lets see: -More tired and than in the beginning. -I feel l regained some social anxiety that l lost when l started Nofap. Anyway it is always lesser than before Nofap. -l feel l lost that "laser"/energy l had in my eyes when l talk to people/women. -Most of women dont notice me during these days in flatline. -Mild lazyness/depression when alone in my room. Things l feel keep me away from a Hard Flatline: -Continue workingout twice a day. I do two sessions each day. Instead of a harder one l do two. -Cold showers -Reading -l still feel the sharp thinking and no brainfog. I dont feel that invisible burden on me. -Keeping an optimistic mindset troughout this barren landscape the f..... Flatline is. Body symptoms: -morning boners only. -feel attracted to women but not the high arousal or urges l felt these weekes back. -in a more aural way, l dont feel that gleam that strong confidence l had twobweeks ago. What l wonder is whether lm passing a mild flatline (I mainly feel l lost the benefits l earned the first weeks) or keeping this pillars in my daily life prevent the flatline take over my life. Anyway it sucks... You know? I see other people flaline testimonies and feel l shoulnt be complaining, other fellars have gigantic balls. But l wonder where the fuck l am.. Id love to hear from you guys if you feel that all the things you do prevent you to fall into a harder flatline or what. I really dont know wheteher this thing will get better or l will remain stuck in this grey lands forever. I have read a lot about flatlining but each one have their own story and makes me wonder where l am. Thanks and keep the fight
I am experiencing same physical symptoms .I had spontaneous erections during 5 to 15 days.Since then,I am only getting morning wood for the last 3 days.
things will get better one day .Just stop focusing on your symptoms and stuff.Good time will come bro .Life with nofap is much better than fapping to porn .Porn will stop us from progressing in life .Suffer for 6 months to make your rest of life better .Keep going .Best of luck from your brother in this struggle.
Yeah it happens in the journey, just don't relapse and keep going. Cause sooner or later the flatline will pass as they're not that severe based on the testimonies.
Thanks guys l got addicted to this new me that is appearing. Flatline helps you to put ur feet back on the ground. Cmon! I have been doing shite for many years, and now want to be always in superpowers mode? Fuck me! You guys are righ, need to stop waiting and just live the moment. Thanx and take care bros. It really feels great to have u there
Yeah bro !we masturbated to porn for years and want to recover in a week or a month .Flatline decreases your urge and it is best to avoid relapse.Once the flatline ends ,we will have a lot of improvements in our life.
The fatigue is because youre overtraining. If you overtrain your body releases more.cortisol and your T levels drop. Try to do euther more abbreviated workouts and see if that helps
Yes, l was thinking smth like that. Again dopamine. I feel good if l workout and if dont l dont get my dose. I will do shorter workouts but will continue doing them as it is really helping me in other fields. I think l need to learn to get my satisfactions/dopamine shots in a healthier/more patient way instead of try to become healthier compulsively. Bloody hell this shite is hard! Thanks for the insight
No problem man, remember if you lift weights, a workout over 45 minutes starts trigger higher levels of cortisol, at this pace 3-4 days is the max you should lift. The only other way to battle this is by forcing your body to heal faster which is possible, but it depends on your fitness level and habits (diet, sleep). But i understand what you mean about compulsive behaviors to make yourself healthy, that is a good thing in a sense!!! And i agree im not gonna lie quitting P for me is harder than quitting cigarettes but youre on a great streak, keep it up!!!
I think I'm going through the same as you. I think I'm in a 'mild' flatline. I've tried to kickstart myself out of it by getting a testosterone injection called Nebido. I did a bloodtest and saw that my Testosterone is low, bioavailable and free testosterone is very low, I have high cortisol and high SHBG. My Dopamine levels are low too. I'm hoping nofap will cure all of this, but wondering if I should take more supplements to rebalance those hormones. I'm in Switzerland where there health system fffffffff sucks and is ridiculously expensive. Getting help here is like climbing everest naked, it won't happen and its gonna hurt. Do you have PIED too?
Umm im not doctor and id recommend taking the advice of your physician but injecting yourself with T is a slippery slope. If you introduce artificial Test into your system, your body will naturally produce less of it as a consequence, and T injections are also addictive as well, look at body builders. Not only that there is a litney of negative consequences of doing that as well. If you want to increase your T levels I recommend doing that naturally through exercise, high protein diets, supplementation, and good rest. Im lucky enough to where Ive lifted weights pretty heavily in my younger years and even though I let myself go in the recent year, my frame remained. In the process of a month, Ive lost 20 pounds and my muscle density has increased dramatically. Your hormone levels should fluctuate during the process of nofap, but be very careful altering these levels synthetically. Your hormonal system is similar to your neurotransmitter system in that your body will self correct through negative feedback. Meaning that you body will have a tough time adjusting once you stop injecting the artificial T. Eat foods that increase T naturally, exercise, sleep well and your T levels will increase I guarantee you. If you shock your adrenals and body through artifical T though, youre setting yourself up for another addiction and battle after you get through this one
Very good advice. I really appreciate it. The urologist assures me that the T that I take, Nebido, encourages the natural production of T so he said I can come off it whenever I want. He also said that the dose I have is quite low, it’s just enough to help keep me from unhealthy low levels. I’m gymming a lot. I’m also an Ironman. I lost 60 pounds over the last 3 years, now I’ve gained some 15 pounds of muscle over the past year. I’m look good and feeling better. I hit a really bad low in January which is when the urologist started the T treatment. After the first cycle was over (10 weeks) I hit a really bad low where I was questioning my life. I’ve had 2 more injections since and the last cycle I didn’t hit any low so my T is stabilizing. I’m hopeful the tips you said will help bring my bioavailable T higher which is currently below a healthy range. I’ve incorporated so many tips and I’m living the healthiest life ever. Regular exercise, don’t drink or eat junk food, sleep 7-8hrs per night, supplement with Zinc, Magnesium, potassium, Calcium, eat balanced diet, nofap, no drugs, no social media, no films. Despite all of this, still have ED. Not giving up, just hoping soon I can lift my SO with the hardness of my penis
I also get more tiredness as well. Some days it feels really bad, but I guess eventually once I eventually reboot then things get better? The problem is I keep relapsing! I also find when I'm alone in my room, I get much more lazy and depressed. I think it's just a trick our brain plays on us. Our brain knows that we used to PMO when we alone, then it desperately doesn't want us to change, and it gives us the worst withdrawal symptoms when we are alone, especially somewhere we could PMO quite easily! I guess the easy answer is too spend less time alone in a room with a closed door, but sometimes that's not always possible.
Im happy for you man, seems like youre keeping things in objective focus, as long as your doctor is monitoring your condition and you are kiving a healthy lifestyle it seems like you are on the right track. At the end of the day we arent perfect and certain sacrifices and realities have to be faced. I wish you the best of luck on your journey of self improvement
I know what you mean, the boredom is a tough trigger, since your brain is already hardwired to move towards porn. What other triggers have you identified. My most recent trigger that has prevented from progressing is the lack of consistent sleep due to stress
Sounds like you need two things: 1. Learn more about the way PMO is destroying your life. PMO is a horrible addiction and you need to realize that it’s poisoning your brain and your life. 2. You need some hobbies. There is no reason why you should be in your room with a closed door unless you’re sleeping. Research hobbies and pick one. Exercise, socialize, enjoy life through walks in the park, listen to music. Keep busy. Then go to the room and go sleep. Bed is only for sleeping and sex, not for PMO.
