Man, your story is exactly like mine. I'm about 4 years younger and I have almost the same story. I have developed the same symptoms. Blood pressure etc. I have failed every single time I started a Nofap journey. And yes there has been times I tell myself maybe this is my destiny and I cannot do anything about it. But over the last two years, I have done a lot of reading and I know all these negetive feelings are brought on by the addiction to keep you in it. For the last five years I have had constant pain in my chest and constant elevated blood pressure.

Tell you what? There are many stories even on this forum of people who lowered their blood pressure to normal levels after quiting and having patience for months to see the result.

I'm not going to tell you all my struggles but believe me my story is 98% yours and I have lost so much too, intelligence, good looks, jobs, relationships, sexual health and a healthy heart.

But through it all I have never stopped attempting to quit the ADDICTION. I'm currently on my day 12 and I know nuclear powered relapsing forces will be sent at me. I take each day at a time and I'm training my brain to cope. It seems the addiction always comes back with a revenge when we attempt to quit and this fear has trapped many and made them feel completely defeated and surrender to die. I'm not taking this, I will fight hard to win, it better than accepting defeat.

My target? Reach 60 days and come and post about it. I know abstaining for some months will give me the healing I need.

I have told myself that my life struggle isn't about anything out there, maybe my life's struggle is about defeating this addiction. It my life project now and I keep fighting.

I don't know about you but I wont go down without a fight. I BELIEVE YOU CAN WIN THIS. I BELIEVE YOU CAN TURN THE STORY AROUND, I BELIEVE YOU CAN SURVIVE THIS AND BECOME AN EXPERT. WE LOVE YOU

And for those teenagers and early twenty peoples. I started masturbation at 12. I blinked and I was 32, that is two decades gone and my life is Completely RUINED, as I type there is a very beautiful woman who has come to spend days with me I'm so sexually weak k that she is walking around naked in my room but I can't even have sex with her cos I'm so weak. BREAK THE ADDICTION NOW, YOU DON'T HAVE TIME.

Also there countless success stories here about people who were worse than me and you but had success and now see porn as some disgusting shameful thing as it truly is.

A sure way to win is to open up to a close friend or relative and live with them in the same house and possibly a room. You will make a lot of progress, there presence will cause you not to fap. And you will achieve days of NoFap and then start a rewiring.

Any help is good, but talking face to face, whether with a family member, friend, AP or counsellor, is going to get you back on track a lot quicker.

Great to see all the support here, you're in good company. And we also appreciate you sharing and keeping some of us grounded - this is not easy for anyone, but it is a worthwhile task, no matter how long it takes.

I started at 10 as well. Took me a few years of trial and error on NoFap. Now almost 30, only just starting to see the potential I have. You said it yourself you were capable of more. One day soon you'll get there again.
