    Well hello there....
I have successfully completed my 8 days of nofap... It's kind of okay, not much great, not so dull either... I am a married male, 29 years of age... Wasn't having a good relationship sex wise with my wife..... Been addicted to porn since I was 16 years old.... It's a long time, yeah.... But finally I quit porn, my one and only problem was porn and then masturbation... I never really felt that much urge to masturbate without porn.... I just wanted to watch porn and ejaculate since I came out of teenages... In teenages it was the anxiety and tension which led me to jack off.... Well in adulthood I was just watching shit porn and doing masturbation for pressure relief and relaxation...
I need a buddy be a male or female preferably married to help me out in this. Cheers!

Just out of curiosity, because a lot of younger NoFappers think that once they get married, this addiction will vanish because they can fulfill these pleasures with their wives. What's your take on that School of Thought?

Unfortunately most porn addicts aren't using it for pleasure that they will later get from their wives, there is usually other deeper issues it is covering up. And when they meet their future wives, they may even stop for a while. But relationships require work and emotions, and usually an addict will go straight back to their drug when these issues arise. If it was being used whilst single as simple sexual pleasure/release once in a while the person would not be an addict. I know my PA turned to porn as a teenager for the wrong reasons - yes, it started with the mindset of everyone does it. But he had no control as he was using it to cover up for his feelings of inadequacy, betrayal, not being good enough etc when his dad left, then later when his fiancé had an affair with his stepdad as well. Now, 25 years later (20 years after his fiancé affair, 16 years after we got together), he is finally facing all of those emotions. So, my advise to those younger PAs is it wont disappear. Face your issues and sort them out now before you contemplate settling down in a relationship. Do it for yourself.

  6. Heyyy welcome to the NoFap forum : ) It's nice to see you here fighting the good fight alongside us!

    Here is just some advice:

First and foremost please take a look at each section in the forum, there might be something(s) you may find of big help to you. Feel free to post there :+)

Then secondly I just strongly advise you to be active on your profile(as there quite a few active people in the profile section). Please start by choosing an avatar and then make daily status posts to show you're active and needing support/encouragement. They've also got a neat little feature that shows freshly posted statuses for all users to see. People will find your profile and give you encouragement/support.

People (are beginning to) love communicating in the profile section..(it should be and is )mostly spportive talk but it doesn't hurt to deviate from supportive talk. It would be great to have you join in and support others in the threads, profiles, and journal, we could always use your help and in return you shall receive some as well!

Thirdly, You should also highly consider creating a public journal and write about your days in more depth for us members to follow along your journey and offer support to you by way of posting in your journal.

Last but not least: Good luck on your journey here, make sure to really give it a try with all your heart!
