It is depressing when the model is wearing an engagement ring

It's great that you want to recover. Removing your cell phone from your bedroom is a good idea but if that's your entire plan - then your plan sucks. Seriously you will need to come up with something a lot better than that if you want to succeed.

 

This engagement ring might also be a fake. And the whole thing is presented as if that woman was already taken. Just to make you feel bad, so you keep coming back. Because in the bottom of your heart, you want to be hurt. You hurt yourself. And you feel ashamed and your confidence is dismantled step by step.

Listen, if you know that watching these pics makes you miserable, than don't do it, no matter the urge. Do something else instead.

 

If you yourself really don’t want to fall for your addicts deceiving acts of making you feel better you need to have at least several steps. There are a lot of techniques you can use. I personally use a lot of them or put a couple into one big wake up. What I say to myself in the past“I feel great. Everything is great.” Then my addict says, “It can be better if we look at photos of others and use our hand to pretend it’s that person.” But then I will be shameful, knowing that everything was not “great,” but that my addict showed me what a I knew was true. Instead of following my mistakes, maybe you could dialogue with your compulsion. It may not make sense, but as you are writing the script out, you have taken a step you may have realized you never could. You are forgetting about the compulsion. I always have a daily practice of at least one thing. My hand on my heart with a question or affirmation. Eckhart Tolle has a website with affirmations to just keep telling yourself every day. A quick dialogue,” Addict you may think you are making those easier for us, but it can lead to us losing our jobs and our mind.” The compulsion usually gives a euphoric recall in a sense of how we use to fall for their simple temptation, You May think your life is better, but not when you can have a pretend girl friend that will do anything for us!” My personal response is, “Nice try addict! (Ad-libbed) I am tired of the shame with disappointment that follows.”

 

You want to date or marry a woman what goes naked around, shes most likely to cheat on you.

Will power may not be enough. For most of us it's not. You need a lifestyle change, part of which must include a community (in real life, not just online) that will support you in recovery and to who you will be accountable.

 

It depresses me because that just makes it that much more unlikely that I will ever be with them.

 

Sometimes it can be just for fun, so it doesnt mean she has a husband..just for dirty fun, cuckolds exist...they (the viewers) must like seeing her ring and thinking how dirty shes behaving behind her husband or boyfriend..and if she did have one, he is probably a cuck. lol.

Honestly, I probably never even noticed an engagement ring in pornos before...my mind was elsewhere. Good for you though realizing you have a problem. Now you need a legit plan of action to tackle the problem.
