If it doesn't effect your life in a negative way like -
    * Cancelling things you have planned (with your friends / family) so you'll have more time to masturbate
    * Negative effects on your sleeping habits (because you spent hours on edging / fapping)
    * Negative effects on your studies
    * Negative effects on your personality and behavior around women you find attractive and girls in general
(acting like a weirdo and being awkward)
    * Health problems

    then you got your answer.

    @vxlccm That's an individual thing I guess..
Personally I don't find anything benificial for my soul or my spirit by doing nofap.

p.s - I'm not trying to encourage anyone to watch porn or to masturbate
I myself am on day 7 right now without pmo (trying to challenge myself)

  6. argh, your post makes me feel like being pro-pulsed back in my past before NoFap.

Is that bad or good? in which way? why?

  8. Bad. It's because I did all these things without even seeing it or thinking it could be a problem.

When did you realise that masturbation is bad for you?
In which ways did it harm you?
Has anything changed since you stopped doing MO ? if so, what has changed?
What are your beliefes about MO?
Has anything changed in your relationships since you stopped doing MO?
(I'm only talking about masturbation, f*** the porn industry)

  10. I have been masturbating since the age of 13. There was no period longer than two weeks where I did not masturbate. I believed that this is what had to be done, that the sperm kind of has to be evacuated because it would fill up and provoke I don't know what health issue. Similar to pee.
Over the years I started loosing interest in real sex, and the fact that I did not have sex was easy to overcome by masturbating. Eventually it just became something odd that I had to do, just in order to stay healthy. I slowly had to masturbate longer and longer so I can evaculate, I had to do harder and harder, faster and faster. It also became a coping mechanism with anxiety.
Then, I think together with Porn, I developed ED.
I stopped masturbating because I thought this would not be ok towards my wife (I got married in may 2019).

Since then, I have developed a much stronger interest in sex and the fact that I cannot just relieve the pressure, pushes me to achieve my goals and to actually DO something about anxiety.

Today, I no longer believe that Masturbation is something that we should do. It might be OK when you're 13, but it surely gets wrong when you have a girlfriend and you want to become a man, take responsibilities and grow up.
Orgasm, this it great, but only with your wife or your partner in general. Just ejaculating in a hand, that is not something that has a high esteem. I mean, look at the people that you look up to. How would this affect your opinion of them if you knew that they masturbate?
Say something weird: We have Bruce Wayne, he is a secret hero, and every night when he comes back to the Bat Cave ,the takes of the Bat costume and masturbates... aehh...

I guess that this is why it's so hard for me to understand the idea behind nofap because I have never experienced it the way you did.
Even when I was masturbating (and I did that on daily basis) I always wanted to experience real sex and to be in a relationship with someone.
I never saw porn or masturbation "as a replacement".
    Same thing about anxiety -
Whenever I felt down or depressed in my past it was never because of PMO.
(there were other reasons like my army service, a girl that I liked who has cut me out of her life and then it was my studies at the university, some arguments with my family and etc).
    I agree with you a 100%
Lol, I don't think that I'll ever discuss about this topic with any of my friends.
But let's say that I wouldn't dwell on it too much.
(unless if he is doing that while having a girlfriend and then it'd be kinda awkward)

    btw-
I'm currently on day 10 without PMO
and I don't think that I'll ever go back to watching porn again.
I started to hate this industry after watching a documentary on Netflix
(but I'm not sure about masturbation though since I'm single at the moment)

  12. It's your choice. But I think, if you quit masturbation as well, you won't be single for a long time. Your hormones will push you beyond your fears, you'll take action over and over again.
