i remember living in this one appartment, a girl upstairs parked her car right above my balcony, my balcony was the parkinglot area, fun, but everytime ,everytime, she got in her car, she sets off her car alarm, she doesnt deactivate , she just opens her car while it sets of a loud alarm, and she worked two jobs to so shes always off working, my friends thought it was hilarious, i dont live in the appartment no more, but an idea i would have done is ask my landlord if i could switch suites or talk to her directly if she could please deactive her dame alarm before getting in her car, she was a sweet girl her appartment was filled with neat collectibles ,i actually got knowing her well before i departed the appartment under unfortunate circumstances, but i got to know her, and if i stayed i would ask her please do something about her alarm

 

How dare she stomp like that!! I'd call the cops and have her arrested and taken away immediately. Or you could go outside and kill her with kindness the next time and see if that doesn't solve the problem.

 

both situations lead to same result get to know her so you know how to express this matter with her or talk to land lord about switching suites .......oh lordy

You have 3 options. Burn it all down
Throw her out of the apartment building you own

Or move yourself and lose your building


Pooh and 4th option. Call the mother ship to come pick you up early

 

In the UK the local councils have teams that deal with noise pollution.

They have devices they can use to measure the volume and take it from there (if appropriate.)

Having said that, they can also:

- send an anonymous letter saying there's been a report of noise. She might figure out who it is and the vendetta starts
- give a machine to record the noise. If it's above their threshold, something happens.

Like I said, I don't know where you're at, so maybe I'm saying nothing useful.

 

Bloody hell. You need to confront her or move. Look at it this way - if you confront her and it turns ugly, you'll just have to move anyway. If you don't confront her, you'll end up moving too. Your reasons for not confronting her sound to me like reasons based on your own insecurity and awkwardness about talking to strangers. I know the feeling, but this is something you need to work on and improve at.

 

My personal suggestion when dealing with those situations is that if you know that she's playing those kind of games to get a reaction from you then let her know that you won't have any of it. By that I mean throw in a half condescending joke to let her know that you find what she's doing rather stupid over anything else; along the lines of "are you trying to get all the neighbors attention when you make all that noise in the hallway?"

Either that or just move out somewhere else, because from the sound of it she seems like a lunatic so if you don't take any action she probably won't stop doing what she's doing.

 

"Excuse me miss, I have noticed how sometimes very loud noises come out of your apartment. I am in no position to ask you the reason of this, but could you please try to avoid doing this?"
