Whats up everybody? JackieNoFappieChan checking in after a 2 year hiatus from this website lol to tell you about the last 150 + days of my life since I have decided to adopt the nofap lifestyle. Long post ahead with useful info so grab your popcorn !

The last 150+ days have been crazy. I say 150+ because i stopped counting at day 150. So I don't know the exact date but I do know my last fap was in the early part of February of this year. In February I hit an all time low mentally, physically and spiritually. I was beating my meat atleast 4x a week, sometimes 4x a day. I had no motivation, no drive and no zest for life. I knew nofap wouldn't directly fix all of my problems but from my last streaks of abstinence , I knew it would be the catalyst that sparks the change I needed in my life.

So whats changed? Literally everything. I'm not even sure where to start. First let's talk about my mentality. While I was fapping 4+ times a week I always felt anxious. Almost like there was a cloud above my head. I felt as though the world was watching everything I did and that made it hard in my daily life. I always thought the worst would happen in any and every situation. Even at the time I knew it was illogical to think that way but for some reason I just couldn't shake it. This mentality stopped me from doing alot of things I wanted to do because of what people thought or people would see me do it. NOW I have the most idgaf attitude a 24 year old guy can have. I have this unwavering confidence and security about everything I do. I am looking everybody in the eyes during conversation, especially girls and speaking more confidently too as my thoughts in my head seem to come out much more smoothly. One random thing is that random people are starting conversations with me more. I kid you not I have had more people come up and talk to me in the last 7 months than have in the last year and a half. It happens everyday no matter where I go. Its like I'm an energy magnet just attracting people. The girls seem to be staring at me more than before and I've had instances where girls have approached me and given me there numbers. I go after girls alot more too. When I see a girl i think is cute, I have an urge to go talk to her. Its got to be my brain healing from seeing distorted images of pornstars all those months ago.

Okay lets talk about physical changes. It has been so much easier to get in shape. While I was fapping I was going to the gym consistently 5x per week for about a year and saw no results except for strength. Since February I have been going 3-4x per week, lost 30lbs and gained 8lbs of muscle. I get so many compliments from girls at work on how i look more chiseled muscular. I also have more energy in the gym and my strength has gone through the roof. My voice has deepened alot. Im talking about from Steve Carrell to Mufasa lol I took a recording of myself on day 1 and day 150 and listened to them both. The difference is night and day. The last physical change is hair growth. Ive always had a full thick head of hair but it grows faster and even thicker now. Even my beard that usually grew in patchy has grown into a full ass beard now.

Now ill go into some tips that helped me:
    1. Know your triggers!
If you know that scrolling through that one model's instagram is going to trigger you, eliminate the trigger before it even starts. Peeking too. Your brain will tell you " OH its just a peek, I won't relapse" DONT TAKE THE CHANCE. Know what causes you to relapse and remove that from the equation.

    2. Change your environment!
Most of us relapse in our bedroom with our phone or laptop. In that case change your environment. Take your computer out of your room. If you relapse at night with your phone, put it in the drawer as soon as you hit the bed at night so the temptation is lessened. Guys these little things go a long way.

    3. REPLACE that bad habit!
Probably the most important one for me in making nofap a lifestyle instead of a "streak". When u stop PMOing it'll leave a void of dopamine that your brain is going to want to fill. Do something productive that you like doing. For me it was socializing or working out. When i got the PMO urge I either hopped up and went to the gym or called up a friend to go hang out and or talk it up. I loved those two things so much that I eventually didn't even have fapping on my mind anymore.

    4. Eventually stop counting the days!
For me this worked. Early on I would always relapse around the 10-15 day mark. IT was like as soon as I saw the 10 day counter on my phone app, my brain would be like "its time to relapse." So to try to psych myself out, i only counted the months. I put a reminder in my phone for every 30 days that said "Next month of no PMO" . Then I'd literally forget about it until it sounded off and it was already the next month. So for 5 months thats what I did and at the 5th month I completely stopped counting anything. Fapping has not even crossed my mind since then.

I hope all this info helped you guys out even a little. Just don't give up. I've been at rock bottom where I'd even relapse 4x in one day ,not getting past 3 days and felt completely hopeless like I'd never break free. But look where I am now! Happier and healthier than I could have even imagined back then. You can do it. This delayed gratification is worth it. Just remember it is not your fault you got addicted, you may have been young, misinformed, not knowing what you were getting into when you PMO'd for the first time. But staying addicted IS your fault. It IS a choice. CHOOSE to take control back. IF you guys have any questions feel free to ask! Good Luck!

  5. Leave it for good my friend. Try to do something else when you have the urge. May be you can go out, talk to somebody and basically distract yourself from PMO.

It's really heartening to know this. These things/problems are exactly same as I face. I recently relapsed for 10 days now again back on track on just 7th day now

Did you change something else? Or do you mean that abstaining from PMO alone made you gain more muscle? I'm very interested, please elaborate some.

What up brotha? First off, its really good that you're even catching on to this at such a young age and trying to stop so kudos to you on that! Try to implement some of the tips I said in my post. Taking my computer out of my room was a huge one. Since I'd have to go into the kitchen to us my computer around other people, the chances of me relapsing really dropped. If none of those tips helped you out, message me and I can give you even more little things that eventually helped me.

Man I definitely know the feeling. It felt like it was crippling me, like my real self was locked in a steel cage but each day I stayed PMO free , the cage started to rust and deteriorate until the bars finally came loose. The first 30-45 days is always the hardest. I find that if I get past a month and a half, the rest is usually smooth sailing. So just set smaller goals like I'll go 7 days no PMO, then once you get there say I'll go 10 more days, then once youre there say I'l go 15 more days...now look! You're already at 32 days after that.

Awesome, @FappieChan lol, your username sounds funny. :D

I will take into consideration very seriously what you suggested. Be careful to not get too high. It's not fun to relapse after such good work as yours relating to your streak.

I agree it's a lot of anxiety. It's only been 5 days it feels like forever. I must some time stop to check my counter. Please continue and keep us updated!

  12. You're so inspiring, man! Your tips will definitely help us all a lot! :)

Everything was exactly the same man. The only thing I changed was nofap. My diet was always clean , I was always consistently working hard in the gym without taking days off. Honestly after trial and error on years of doing nofap and researching hormones and the body in school and studies (I'm a grad student mastering in biology) I've concluded that it is a result of my testosterone reaching normal levels by not fapping combined with working out. A scholarly article we were reading in my Health Psychology class stated that when men went on a 7 day abstinence from masturbation , their serum testosterone levels spiked, then returned back to normal on day 10. But say that while they were fapping constantly, their testosterone levels were at 60% of what they should be. At 7 days that level spikes to 130%! Then a couple days after that it goes back down to 100% and stays there because of homeostasis. Now you're operating on the 100% test level which is your body's real normal vs the 60% that your body was using when you were fapping. Thats why so many Nofappers including myself report thing like a deeper voice, more hair growth and more strength gains because of the normalized levels of test. This also led over to the gym. When I was fapping , yes I was very slowly getting stronger however I was yo-yoing. Whenever I binged (like 2x in a day) If I went to the gym afew days after that, the same weight I was doing easily for 3 sets of 10 last week, I could BARELY do for 1 set of 8 this week! Coincidentally, every single time I abstain from fapping my strength skyrockets. I went from doing 165 for 3 sets of 10 on day 1 of No PMO to doing 215 for 3 sets of 10 by 2 months of nofap. And because of me being able to get so much stronger consistently, my muscles kept adapting and I gained muscle. This cycle would repeat every single time I stopped fapping for a long period of time without fail. So my muscle gains is an indirect result of nofap but a direct result of higher test and being consistent in the gym.

HAHA Thank you brotha! I swear it used to be "Jackie NoFappie Chan" when I was on here alot afew years ago but I guess they knew I fell off the wagon for a while and they changed it , lol

I've made that mistake of getting too high and confident while on a streak and thinking will power was enough in certain very tempting situations, this time I wont make that mistake. That relapse after a long time abstaining is the worst. Life is so much better man , I cant ever go back to fapping and porn.

YES! Stay BUSY BUSY BUSY! Stay so busy that you forget there even is a counter ! That forever that you're feeling right now will eventually feel like it flew by. Before you know it you'll be right where I am writing a long ass story about how you've beat this addiction! I'll update you guys as much as possible!

This is really exciting to read! Just the other day I was looking at myself in the mirror and getting frustrated at my increasingly thinning hair and dull complexion. I’d never even considered that NoFap could help with these! How awesome :-D. This is a real positive motivator that I can add to the list! The voice thing is also a new one to me. Not something I need or expect, I’ve always had a fairly deep voice since I was about 15. But now I will keep track of it just out of curiosity. Also great to hear another story about improved energy and mood and reduced social anxiety. God I hope that is me in few months time!!!

Did you ever experience any ankle pain while fapping and also going to the gym. Been going to the gym over a year now, while fapping, but just started incorporating nofap into my lifestyle. Someone told me my ankle pain may be a result of fapping, you know that old saying: it makes your legs weak. Any truth to that?

  20. Hi @FappieChan thanks for your post, really motiviating!

It would really interest me if you abstained from orgasm aswell in that period (You haven't masturbated, but did you had wet dreams or sex?).

I am asking as I feel how the streak of no orgasm effects my hormones and my feelings (For example at day 3-5 I feel very sensitive). And I am not sure if this is linked to generally abstaining, to no porn or to no PMO.

    What's your thoughts on this?
