    Hi Guys!

This is Daniel, an ex-porn addict. Reading your stories made me realize how we're all struggling with the similar addiction, that completely alters our lives beneath the surface while of course makes us feel freaking good, makes us feel like real alphas and true men - for a couple of minutes of course.

From the age of 13 I watched minimum one bondage video per day. First the lighter, then the harder stuff. I decided at 16 I had to stop it and eventually did, doing it in the hard way through 3 damn years. And I was lucky I made it that fast but still, I made so many mistakes and went in the wrong direction so many times and suffered pointlessly.

I would have killed for someone to guide me through the journey, someone who was exactly where I was and could tell me what to do, how long healing will take and so on. I swore to myself that if I ever manage to do it I would become this someone for guys like I were.

For the past few months, I've been helping and mentoring 20-45 yrs men, making them getting rid of their vicious cycles, to where they've always fallen back again and again. I would like to help many of you too guys but I'm no doctor or therapist, I can only help those of you had the same problem like I did.

Ask me any questions or message me privately, I'll respond to every single one. I've been there and done that guys and I can tell you only one thing in the end, the famous quote: "Every time you want to quit think why you've started. And remember that broken guy, with no life and dignity and dreams you were.'

    All the best to you,
    Daniel Kant

So, lately I've been struggling with this a lot, what happens is when I get into my streak for like 5-6 days, I get urges to look for psubs videos which I know are up comming and then one thing leads to other and then I eventually relapse.

So what I've done is, now I will consider it a relapse even if I just search for psubs or anything thing like that, I will consider it as relapse.

What I want you to answer me is this normal? or its just me who has low willpower and fall for my brain's excuses to look at porn

And, is my new relapse technique good?
Or is there a better way?

No man, this is not low willpower, this is not knowing the right way how to tackle it. Think of alcohol addicts. The one who can put it down by sheer willpower has strong will but who just simply tries to put it down, does not have a step-by-step strategy on how to do it and fails does not have low willpower by any means. What exactly do you want to get rid of, just porn or masturbation also?

I want to get rid of both porn and masturbation

Will you provide a step by step guide or something..

Maybe tell me how you did it, so I can make it work for me.

When I joined nofap a couple of years ago, I felt that PMO was ruining my life. Lately I feel that PMO in moderation is a good thing for me.

Have you encountered others who felt that way? I'm 53 so maybe that is a factor. There is rarely an "O" in the PMO, and the intensity is lower due to reduced libido.

  6. Hi, man! Have you experienced any intelligence boost along the way?

  7. Hey, I've got some questions :)
    • What was the extent of your addiction? Did it cause you to skip classes or meetings with loved one? Or find reasons to do it even though you don't need to?
    • Did you suffer from any porn-induced performance issues with real women? (Since you were into heavy bondage stuff, I'm sure the real deal wasn't enough?)
    • How many times did you fail along the way to recovery and what were the "stages" of recovery you had?
    Thanks!

    Hi Daniel,

    Thanks for the post.

My personal question is, have you ever used PMO as a remedy for sleep? and if so how did you manage to overcome the urges while successfully being able to fall asleep?

How long did it take before the desire to look at porn passed, if it has? I'm on day 16 and I have to make a conscious decision not to look, or Ill just automatically due it.
