How does somebody make up for 3 years lost to PMO, compared to people in my social circle?

They will have finished college this year. I started this year and will be 24 years old when I finish. How do I make up for it and even get ahead of them so they can stop bragging on Facebook about how independent, attractive, self sufficient, rich (emphasis on rich, always flashing expensive clothes and cars bought with mommy and daddy’s money) and how successful they are? Oh and they also brag about how much nasty s*x they have with their girlfriends and boyfriends in some sort of thirst trap and to make single people feel like crap.

  2. You don't need to compare yourself to them. And there's nothing wrong with finishing college at 24 years old. Stop comparing, dream big, set up a goal in your life, something you really want (if you haven't already) and work towards it. And don't ever stop.

We all lost time to PMO. I, for one, lost my entire adolescence to it and then some. But we shouldn't dwell in the past, it is no use. Instead, we should try our best to make our future better.

Maybe you should focus on people that make you feel worthwile and cut off people you don't really care for.
You're young, The fact that you will finish college later is irrellevant to me. You must focus on the big picture : what do you want to do with your Life? Enjoying your future job is one of the most important things you can do.
Fuck social media and what they choose to show from their lives. You have only possibilities and you can still choose to do what will make you happy. Don't envy them, become who you want to be!

Dude youre 21. You havent lost anything, but gained an experience. I was 23 when started my own company. Porn addict but gave everything I had. One man company, and gave work to over 30 people. Porn addiction at that time wasnt known term. It was in baby shoes. Now 37, lost my wife and everything because of that. Dont watch what other people show in social media, its a lie. Nobody cryes in social media, and show how miserable their life really is, how much they have debt because of flashy showoff lifestyle. Build yourself up, this site is perfect place to be in. People here are dealing with their problems, becoming better person, evolving. Be happy, because you are with good supportive people. Youll be allright.

Stop identifying as a person who was weak enough to become a slave to pmo. Start idetifying as a person who was strong enough to overcome it.

There is nothing wrong with making mistakes. Learn from them and rise as a stronger version of yourself.

You don't need to compare yourself to others. Your past mistakes are what give you strength to overcome the future challenges. Ultimately they are what has shaped you into you. And although you might not feel like it right now, there is nothing wrong with being you, because you are awesome and there will always be people who will believe in you.

So forget about others and what you don't have right now. Take a look at what you have and what you want to be in the future. Keep finding yourself and pursuing your dreams and soon you shall see that you wouldn't change anything about your past even if you could.

So you lost 3 years? That sucks, but cheer up. Now it's your time to shine.

Yes, you should absolutely work on yourself and achieving your dreams. However remember also to be merciful to yourself. Sometimes you'll have days when you'll let yourself down again. That's just life and you shouldn't allow it to weight you down. After all you don't owe anyone anything. All the work you do you do for your own well being.

  9. You dont. You can't get the time back and you cant change how you spent it. If they worked for 3 years and you haven't then you are 3 years behind.

  10. I think you should just not give a shit about them and focus on your studies. If they intend to make single people feel like crap, you're fulfilling their intentions by doing just that.
