I'm guessing that the fact that the adrenals sit on top of the kidneys could be causing confusion in terms of how eastern / western cultures interpret this, or perhaps in Chinese medicine the adrenals are considered to be part of the kidney?

There possibly could be some connection to kidneys however i am no where near medical enough to see or comment.

I do know that my kidney function was never great and had high protein and urea values. Doctors did all kind of test including contrast and kidney function seemed to be good. I was worried I might have kidney disease or something.

Maybe PMO was contributing to this?

Also it would be good if we knew how the body works during the whole process of arousal. As far as I understood the ejaculation is the trigger for hormone release and nutrient deficiency however what happens during the whole PM process

Anybody have any thoughts on PMO affect on pulse and blood pressure? Mine seemed to worsen when I was heavily abusing, when I abstain everything comes back in line to where it should be

  4. I've tested this numerous times. After a few days without PMO my pulse goes down noticeably and I won't feel it as much. This doesn't just happen sometime, but every single time, so they're linked.

I consistently get low blood pressure after a binge - for at least the first few days. This can manifest as fainting when standing, as well as a general sense of dizziness, and the severity correlates to how heavy the binge was. My take on this (and again, the usual disclaimer - I'm not a doctor or scientist etc) is that muscle function is affected, and so the muscles of the heart that actually bump the blood are working less effectively; maybe also the muscles that constrict blood vessels are more sluggish in their response to change of posture. I am also more likely to get arythmias after a binge, and this can last for 10+ days before I'm free from this. Likewize, I get really bad muscle twitches. Generally though, my blood pressure is normal, but my resting heart rate is a little high - 80-85 bpm. Bear in mind that I'm not over-weight, but rather unfit.

well kidneys bladder and your sex organs are all part of the one and the same reproductive system... its all connected.

in the past priests were telling us - masturbation is bad, but the Western elites had a plan, they knew to spread BS like ''it leads to blindness'' just like they did with marihuana in the 60s ''it leads to madness'' so that they twisted it all, and made people do it compulsively ''ah, the priests are mad! masturbation is healthy'' and look where we are, 50 years later! Army of weak men, without inner energy, without power to rebel against the rulers! In 2-3 generations, it will be done.

Weak men wont oppose tyranny coming from the state. I really believe that was the plan from the start.

I now realize that I made a mistake to relapse further after those 15 days [I did 2 orgasms for 2 days = 4 in total] because I was so scared of the low energy. It might be this dip came only after 10-14 days, and I mistaken this for coming from wet dreams... so my energy dipped even lower. My voice changed, and now I am swimming in a pool of low energy but this time... I AM NOT TURNING BACK. I will aim for 100 days again. Maybe 180.

yes. my path is now clear as a sunny day. no excuses. I wasted my life for PMO. Maybe more! I think I started when I was 7-9 years old. 29 YEARS? FUCK ME. My brain and body is so used to this... this was my 1st addiction. I beat every other like alcohol, caffeine etc but this one.. this is so ingrained into me. It will take the rest of my life to put this under control. Yet I still want to have happy sex life, I can say I never truly had it apart from one good relation [sexually] with one girl when I was in my 20s and thats it. Every other relation was poor sexually. I want my life back! How much I could achieve if not for this shit?

But, whatever we do in our lives echoes in eternity! I will master myself and my body or die! : ]

Yes in withdrawls my blood pressure has been high and pulse too would randomly go up and down. I’m 31 and semi fit and active with a decent diet
And blood pressure always in the 120’s/80 range. I would kinda assume it would be the stress and anxiety of withdrawls mainly affecting that.

Thank you sir! This is exactly why they foisted this on not only America, and other countries as well. The UK is now overrun with illegal refugees and their country is no longer theirs. Same happening to all of Europe as well. Interesting that it’s not happening to Middle eastern countries huh..?? The ones that we are told to accept and are having 12 kids to each family. Same as Hispanics too..?? They have about 6-8 kids as well. No PIED or masturbation in their lives while Europe’s birth rate numbers have gone down so low. The countries leaders say we have no choice but to bring in foreigners now to keep our economy going with their children. It’s all a part of global domination by a few families in power. We are just chess pieces to them. That is why they hate Trump. He exudes machismo and masculinity and that is what the elites hate and NEVER want the younger generation of men to see. They want them to see athletes abusing free speech, calling cops pigs, abusing and assaulting women. They want women to scream rape and sue because that is their way to get up in the world or work like a man to be equal and forget about a family.

It’s up to us essentially as people to come together and not be broken down and split apart.

They have tried many times to do studies on this but finding a control group of men who don't watch porn has been near impossible every time. Porn is an epidemic

There is one group that could be used as a control - Nofappers who have several years of porn-free recovery under their belt.

True, but it's a difficult group to get together, it's not like studies on people with depression, where you can go to your local shrinks office and put a poster up requesting locals with depression to volunteer, we are a global movement who only congregate online really, and we are staggeringly few in number compared to men who watch P and MO

Maybe this is where communities like this can help - assuming that there are recoveries (recoverees?) who still check in; or contacting guys like Gabe Deem and Noah Church, who are publicly recovered Nofappers, and who may be in touch with more. Of course the hope is that we'll all be there in a year or two ourselves!

I'm not sure that there is a rule of thumb when it comes to recovery.

Everyone is different and body has amazing ways of healing itself. Just use quitting smoking as an example.

Us that started younger, will take longer. But I wouldn’t buy into the 2 months for every year thing. Just like I wouldn’t buy into a 90 day reboot and then on day 91 your instantly healed.. it’s a slow, roller coaster process.

  20. As it has already been said, every person is different and it also depends on whether you binge PMO'd for hours on end or did a "quickie" every once in a while. I'd say a safe bet would be around a year in monk mode for a long time addict, possibly a bit more for a full recovery as there are some cases nearing the two year mark and still healing. Nothing is set in stone and the whole 90 days thing is an arbitrary number. It's more like a lifelong journey, you can't go back to the old PMO days, it's simply not an option anymore as now you know that's the thing that caused all the problems in the first place.
