Questions for the ones that escalated to gay/trans stuff ***trigger warning ! ***

Then it seems there are potentially two distinct psychological problems occurring with regards to this stuff.

1) Pure escalation from pornography use, i.e. becoming desensitized to regular straight porn through excessive PMO and then seeking same sex pornography (or worse), in which you will likely continue to conceive of yourself as the 'active' partner.

2) An escalation based on pre-existing psychological problems which incline you towards passivity for any one of the reasons already mentioned in this thread, with a trajectory through femdom and then to same sex pornography. Strangely though, transsexual stuff was never a thing for me at all.

 

Ok thanks a lot because I was fearing that the ts thoughts would never disappear. Yeah I'm not very accepting of the LGBT. I know for a fact that I stumbled upon this genre through escalation because why would I all of a sudden start watching stuff that disgusts me unless there's more dopamine released to satisfy my brain. This study made me quite anxious and conflicted because that's not how I actually feel unconsciously and I'm 100% straight. The book is written by liberal professor so he is probably all accepting and stuff.

My own experience (in fact it is a commonly held view and experience in my community) is that guys/men who posture and peacock anti-LGBT slurs the loudest and publicly, and then get offended and increasingly aggressive if challenged, of being anti-gay or anti-trans are almost always the first ones who want a date on the downlow ..... Significantly conflicted between self-awareness and social-posturing.

I don't see any hate posts here instead people being pushed into fetishes which for some are PMO induced.

In my case I eventually escalated to watching the trans stuff but I realize that what i liked was the lingerie that the she-males where wearing and the makeup and long hair (and other feminine stuff). I also liked the idea of pretending to be a woman because of the way that women can get sex-on-demand and literally fuck 30 guys in a single day if they so choose and how for a man this is next to impossible to even get 3 females in a single day to sleep with them.

But basically I realized that more "disgusting" some of the porn was that it would "push the right buttons" and send a dopamine release. And then we see many men progress to watching such taboo stuff like she-male, gay men, bestiality, inter-racial, incest, rape/torture and other depravity. Since all those things are so immoral and filthy that is what makes them get the dopamine flowing for "de-sensitized" men. It needs to get more and more evil to produce an ejaculation.

But to answer the OP;s question we are talking about the realm of "fantasy" so one should not make the mistake that they are a "secret gay" in real life just because they watched transwoman porn or that they are a child molestor because they watched teen porn of girl sucking a lollypop and in pig-tails.

 

Some of the stuff you said might have triggered me 6 months ago but I've made a long recovery and now it's just words. I'm glad I've come this far.

 

It is really annoying to see how Psychology sometimes disregards scientific work ethics.
They do some study and "measure" people's arousal. I am not even going to ask how the arousal level could be measured quantitatively.
The worst is that the conclusion that these are actually gays under the hood comes out of thin air. There is no logic behind it and there is no proof. In Physics such a paper could not be published. Peer reviewers would tear it apart. The conclusion is just unscientific. You have to prove the conclusion.
Otherwise you could also say they are so disgusted that they actually get a fearful erection as if they were tortured. No proof for that neither.

 

We're doing a huge social experiment, this is how I see it. Young children get hormones and are exposed to sex when they should still be playing in sandboxes. Guys can take some hormones, get implants and compete against women in sport, crush them and even brake the skull in MMA.
Drag queens teach children how great it is to be polygamous, show them their balls and try to convince that they can choose and switch among 70 genders whenever they want.
People watch hardcore porn and super strange fetish where people stick things in all holes of their body big enough to please a blue whale. Instead they no longer develop a relationship with their partner and family, get ED.

I am happy I have overcome porn, thank god. The day my children get exposed to this BS in school I'll pull them out and put them in a catholic school.

Men want and could have sex all the time because they take much less responsibility. Women take all on them because they can get pregnant, so sex can have much more consequences on them. No wonder, they intuitively choose and "think" it through. Contraceptive measures are not even 60 years old and those behaviours are thousands of years old.

Personally I think this specific fetish may have to do with someones self image as a passive male in society at large, and is only escalated by porn use, which itself presents a whole new issue, and further develops the fetish. Porn itself places men into a passive position, regardless of what they are fantasizing about, that is why you see so many men with these fetishes. Porn itself facilitates "passive" men and reinforces their worldview. Of course there will be exceptions but I believe this is the case.
Our society is sick and weak, there are too many people living easy lives permeated by pleasure seeking, hedonism, and degeneracy, and it's leading nowhere good.
Of course, who am I to judge, posting here on a porn recovery forum, unable to control my own urges.
We should all seek to abide by our own moral compass, we know what it right and what is wrong, what we believe, and should all do our best to become people we are proud of.

 

I never viewed myself as such and neither did I feel like or act like it. This fetish can impact dominant men as well. Remember it all lies in the dopamine reward circuit. Novelty, shock, and disgust triggers arousal.

 

When I escalated to transsexual porn I was always the dominant one, but before that I used to watch lesbian porn where I was always the submissive girl.
