I am 21 Years old and had been a porn addict from 12 years, I did manage to stop watching it for a year or two when I was around 14 but then got addicted again. Sometimes like ones in 2-3 day and sometimes 2-3 times in one day. I tried to quit it many times but failed. Whenever I see something that seduces/trigger me it's hard to control myself from watching porn, now I feel like I will never get be able to get rid of this addiction. Any tip of trying to improve ? Thanks.

  2. Read this - I'm an addict. I seek for assistance.

  3. I think you can. Remember a slip up isn't a relapse, but multiple consecutive slip ups stringed together = relapse

They say in over comming any addictions the first year is the hardest, and if you can make it to 5 years sober off of anything, your chances are pretty good at remaining clean

    Good luck to you

Try to quit Porn first, dont push with quit masturbation too fast, but yes Porn.

After masturbate a few times without Porn the task will be easier. Just dont abuse on M too much, and do it in a natural way, like, in the shower, and only eyaculate with physical sensations. If you eyaculate at Porn or certain mental fantasies the healing process will not work.

So my advice is give you some space for masturbation at the begining, but keep in mind that you need to leave it behind as well some day.

About Porn, you have to let it back 100%. Masturbate to porn produces a super-human dopamine shot that you cant get in nature, so It will disturb the way that your body is originally used to work.

But yes, with artificial thechnology we can pass the limits of the natural pleasure. I dont see how that can be a good thing for anybody.

    The best of luck

  5. I was tempted to give the short answer "NO". But that would be a bad joke, probably rooting in my own disappointments and struggles.
So let me say: it can be tough. It can be really really tough.
    May this motivate you:

[A quote from the user known as William or WilliamOneAndDone]

I felt like dying, when I quit, but I told myself, every day, over and over, if I have to die to overcome the addiction, I am going to die. You have to want it that bad, and be committed to it that much. That pain, eventually, goes away, completely. Just know, out in your future, you are not addicted, and the withdrawals will leave you. That is the future you are aiming for.

By the time one becomes addicted, one has, essentially, spent multiple hours a day, for years, training their brain to expect the regular dopamine rush they get from their PMO sessions. Important to understand: P addiction does not just "happen"; it is the result of the user unconsciously training their brain to depend on P to get to its dopamine rush. In a sense, you need to think of your brain as distinct from your personality, from you. That, by the way, is not entirely wrong, because the part of your brain that is addicted to a dopamine rush, is distinct from the part of your brain that can reason, and understand the addiction.

I have absolute confidence you will succeed, as I, and many others have.

The thing is do you want to get rid of it? If so then you have to do it day by day. Don't say: "Oh I have an urge so it's only a small setback let's PMO" because before you know it you'll be an addict again. Stop watching porn and stop masturbation today! Don't postpone it any more. Trust me we've all been there and some of us made it to the end but others are still trying. Try to figure out what's best for you. Sometimes cold showers help (if it's hot outside then refreshing in the winter not so much) and working out. For example every time I had an urge I used to do push ups (around 20) and then I was tired and wanted to masturbate no longer

Just go ahead and give it a shot. Just do what you can to stay away from PMO and take it one small step at a time. The results might not show up and you might feel like giving up but you must continue and in the end the results will be out of this world. You will look at yourself in the past and cringe

  7. If you don't think that you can quit porn, you're never going to. Porn was my whole life for a long time and I finally quit 55 days ago. I'm also 21 btw.

  9. What I would give to be 21 again and trying to quit porn! You still want to be quitting when you're 31? 41? 51? It gets worse every year, man. Quit right now and never look back.
