How do I win against knowledge that porn will get better?

Discussion in 'Porn Addiction' started by Deleted Account, Nov 12, 2019.

  1. Like i can quit porn now but for instance I knew before I quit that sometime next year this porn would be released that would be really good. Like what do y'all do about the knowledge that porn will increasingly get better and we will never get to watch it again?

Hey man, I know exactly what you are feeling. The thought that they will improve on what is out there and be more creative and get better production and girls etc.

Personally, I have a few motivators:
    1. Religious guilt (helps big time)
    2. I don't want to be a junkie
    3. I'm in a position where many people look up to me, how can I possibly do this to them?

Not sure if it helps, but that's it. I'm also involved in a project which takes up a lot of my free time, so in that sense I can't afford to watch porn for hours a week. You need to busy yourself.

    Peace

  3. Haha bro, that’s something only someone addicted would say. I’ve thought the same exact thing, I felt jealous of my friends who were able to watch porn and not be effected by it.

Then I realized, I don’t need porn, there’s probably thousands of girls in the porn industry, and we will most likely never get with them. Then I realized there’s millions of girls who I can actually have sex with in REAL LIFE.

We stroke our dicks for hours alone in the dark to pixels on a screen, do you ever just think about it? We are cucks watching these girls that we want get fucked by these dudes with massive dicks that make us look small, we are literally demoralizing ourselves.

Quit porn because real life is better.

How about having sex with a beautiful girl in real life who is so hot that any porn producer would offer tons of money to work with her and how about being the only person who watches (and most importantly touches) her bending over in front of you.
I'd love witness this scenery rather than watching thousands of any other production on pixels. And once I witnessed this I'd be satisfied enough. Yet if I watch even a hundred new released porn, I'll still be curious about 101th and I know I won't be satisfied with it either.

You miss nothing, absolutely nothing if you don't watch new productions. But if you do, you miss your own life and the opportunities life can bring.

Does it really get better? (Don’t answer that, I don’t want to discuss P content) I mean, isn’t it just the same thing over and over again? I’m starting to think it’s all in our head...

You're definitely right and I think the same but from finishthefight's perspective it might be different. Porn enslaves people with different motivations. Some people are attached to just because of a single fetish, the rest of the categories don't bother them much. Those people watch the same video over and over again and pmo.
On the other hand for some it's a different story. As far as I can see from finishthefight's words, the idea (or the fantasy) that attracts him to porn is the circulation and the abundance of those porn girls and the thought of those fetishized and exaggerated girls getting fucked in new scenes. It doesn't matter about the quality of the scene actually, its the same donut and banana action after all.
I think the key point here is to understand the fact that the sex that life offers is much more enjoyable and abundant than the series of faked sex action on pixels no matter how new or well edited/recorded they are. Keep in mind that those girls don't enjoy their porn scenes as much as a fapper does. They seem like they do.
I'm telling this again, and you already know this amigos, just the sound breath and the scream of a real woman having an orgasm on your lap is better than the "best" porn scene you watch on the screen.

Actually this is the most important point in my opinion, why? because feeling that you're missing out on something or maybe deprived of something will eventually make you fall into the trap again. Let's face it, we as humans don't like to be deprived of something whether its food, sex, etc, and we always look for pleasure even in simple things.

So the way you think of porn must be changed and NOT in the conscious brain but in the unconscious brain because it's the one that has tied porn to pleasure over the years of using porn. Porn is NOT pleasurable this message must be burned into the unconscious brain and how? I'm still working on it

  8. thank you all for the replies. my fear is gone for now. im taking most of what yall said to heart
    basically
porn doesnt get better, its always the same in essence (or worse for you as it gets better at its seduction)
life is better than the best porn
its part of beating an addiction to look in despair upon ones future and never see hope of doing said act again, the key is to turn that despair into joy, to be happy it will never be in your life again.

  9. Part of the lie of porn is that it always promises something new - a new girl, a new situation, a new fetish...take your pick. The makers of porn know our weaknesses. They must really hate that some of us are trying not to give in. One less day of porn is less money for those scumbags.

P will, of course, develop and will reach a point where we can't tell the difference between reality and virtual reality. Therefore it is likely that p will be more satisfying in VR than in real life at some point in the near future because of the unlimited variety which is on-demand. So the level of satisfaction is not the full answer to overcoming this problem. I would say keep on fighting on this journey and im sure you will find the answer and then you can share with us.
