I’m 16 and I’ve been masturbating since I was 12. It’s a tremendously deteriorating behaviour. I used to fap close to 2-3 times a day and sometimes 5-6 times on a weekend. I only just started nofap, I believe on the October 1st. Since then I’ve noticed some changes in my behaviour and my social life. I won’t go into detail of my some of benefits I experienced on my streaks. All I’m saying is ik what you’re going through and I wish I was in your position and started a year earlier. It’s about just doing it. You will relapse (I have, 4 times already), but you have to pick yourself up and go again. Try your best. You will come out as a better and a more manlier man...

I wouldn’t advise doing that. Doing nofap is about beating the addiction and focusing on your real life rather than giving into your fantasies on a computer screen. Part of beating this addiction is treating like it’s not there. Essentially you have to live your life pretending you don’t fap. The best way to achieve that is socialising and being around people. Solely focusing on nofap will almost surely make you relapse. Don’t leave your job. At least that’s my advice

  7. Little strokes fell great Oakes. No pun intended, but it's a great quote. Pick a goal, challenging yet doable, and try to reach it again and again. If you can't go 2 days without fapping, then set that as your goal. Maintain that pace for a week or two then step it up to three days, etc. After a month or two, look back and take pride in your progress. Also please be patient with yourself. It takes time to build the skills and discipline necessary to fight pornography and masturbation. I wish I had the courage you're showing now when I was 15. Stay in these forums.

I agree with Mohhh. Leaving your job just to focus on nofap would be very hard. Keep going to work and fill your empty time with friends, new hobbies , traveling or anything you like doing. Once you stop PMOing your brain's reward center will start to crave dopamine from another source. I highly reccomend that source being one of the things I mentioned as they were things that not only stopped me from PMOing, but stopped me from even WANTING to pmo. Good Luck!

@randomguy90 is right man. During my reboot there were 3 books that helped me mentally detach from PMO. Cupid's Poison Arrow, The Power of Habit and SPAM REMOVED (spam code #001) - REPORT TO MODERATION SPAM REMOVED (spam code #001) - REPORT TO MODERATION. They really embedded it into my brain subconsciously that PMO was no longer for me and that it was not serving my higher purpose. I recommend atleast reading 2 of them, they are definitely worth the time,

I'm happy seeing your post Brother. It's really helpful. I have a question if you would like to answer, Were wet dreams there during your reboot ? If yes, What's the frequency ? Thank you. :)

I did have wet dreams. My first one was probably around 2 months in. Since then Ive only had one other wet dream. So since February I've only had 2, one around the middle of April and another in late August/ early September.

How much i love a posts like these! I've just had entire night of dirty dreams ( I guess my body wants get rid of extra semen), and since i woke up at 5, I'm having trouble fighting urges, and reading this just refilled my ammo sack.

I've been on this journey on this journey for over a week now. My goal is 90 days and after day i'm going for a year. I know that i'm going to reach my goal because i know that i have the ability to control my urges. Urges are just feelings and what you choose to do about them is what matters. You either give in or ignore them. If ignoring them becomes hard tell yourself "Fuck my urges, they don't control me, ain't a bitch." After this i recommend you got out for a run or bicycle ride. It's really all about self-discipline. There's something else that makes me sure i'll make it to 365 days, these 5 words "I can and i will." Looking at myself in the eyes, in the mirror, and saying this gives me assurance that i can do it. I also say other things like "F*ck porn, it's not for me." You also need to understand that semen retention will make you grow up to be a better man. I also recommend you subscribe to these nofap youtubers:CaptainSinbad,Gabedawg,Fearless DAN.

Go deep within yourself and find a reason to do nofap, a reason to motivate you. Take cold showers to build Self-discipline. Dip your dick in cold water for no more than ten seconds.

Try to masturbate once a week max 2 times but abstain from porn. Gradually increase to once in 10 days, once in 15 upto one fap in a month. BUT never use porn
