No more slacking off. (Self improvement log)

    I'm going nowhere fast, and life doesn't last forever, I don't want to live the rest of my life like this. I've made a few, relatively minor, positive changes in my life, but at the end of the day I'm living the same way I was a year ago. I'm going to update this thread EVERY DAY for 30 days, then I will see where I'm at.

    Here are the habits I want to implement.
    • Shave every day.
    • Complete duolingo lesson.
    • Clean up something every day.
    • Getting out of bed at the alarm
    • Update my journal every day.
    • Take my supplements every day.
    • Stretch, use the inversion table, and dead hang every day
    The habits I would like to eliminate.
    • Daydreaming, listening to music alone (These overlap).
    Here are some habits I've implemented successfully.
    • No phone use in bed
    • Stopped biting my nails
    • Stopped staying up past midnight
    • Train 3-4 days a week

    EDIT: Changed study for 30 minutes to complete duolingo lesson, the previous task was too unfocused. Also added eat breakfast ASAP to the
    morning routine.
    Not at all if it's formatted differently than mine so we can tell them apart.

    So one thing that I want to do is to be more productive as I am not very much right now. Depression is weighing me down at the moment so I also have to focus on doing good things for myself like healthy eating, exercise and meditation. I go for jogging on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, and Wednesday's.
    Here's my list

    Meditate for 1 hour
    Jogging
    Wim Hof Method (Lite mode)
    Clean my dishes
    Go for a walk outdoors

    I haven't done any of these yet so I'll get on it.

    If you don't mind me chiming in, how in the world did you quit biting your nails? I quit for a while but the habit came back and now it's more difficult than ever.

    Well, it's only been a few months since I quit, and I will occasionally place my teeth on them out of habit, but not bite. I just stopped biting, no special trick, I know that doesn't help, but it was easy for me because I would till my nails were painful, and where I work it is very useful to have thumbnails. So unlike fapping biting my nails brought only pain.

    Haha! That's not much for me. No doubt it took work to get to this point by starting with just 10 minutes at a time, and overtime I became more and more comfortable with an hour of meditation. Then I did a whole day of meditation which with rediculously hard. Now meditating is no problem.

    Today was a crap day to go outside. Maybe that was procrastinating but I did almost everything.

    • play with cat

    • Wash dishes
    1.separated clean room and wash dishes
    2. removed journal update
    3. Removed no daydreaming, as it is something NOT to do, and doesn't belong on the checklist. I will still do my best not to daydream
    4. changed the order to be more chronological
    5. Added play with cat
