What's the point in getting streaks that last weeks if you end up PMO binging?

    Basically I am wondering what sort of relapse is worse out the two of these?

    I don't have a smart phone and have a very good blocking system on my laptop, which my best friend is the administrator of, and he holds all the login in details and passwords to all the blockers. Basically the most things I can see that would cause me to relapse is safe search google images or restricted youtube videos.

    My best friend lives a mile away from where I live, and if I ever need something fixed on my laptop I need to take it to his or he comes to mine, as I don't have access to a lot of stuff as I am not the administrator on my laptop, I just use a standard account on it. But if I really want I can take my laptop to his and have him unblock everything, but this is something I rarely ever do, especially these days. I sometimes used to get my friend to unblock everything for the day when I had bad hangovers from alcohol, and I would basically just PMO binge the entire day. But even over the last while when I have had bad hangovers from alcohol I still haven't been getting my friend to unblock my laptop.

    But usually the only time I relapse on artificial sexual stimulation is when I have a hangover from alcohol. I usually drink on average two nights a week. But recently when I have been relapsing when I have been hungover it has always usually just been to safe search google images, and I have only been masturbating to them for about 5 or 10 minutes before I ejaculate. When I used to be badly hungover I was binging on porn all day. I would be having hour long PMO sessions before I ejaculated, and this would go on the entire day. For some reason when I am hungover from alcohol I am much more horny, I don't know exactly how this happens. But even these days when I relapse on those google images for like 5 or 10 minutes, that is usually me done after that. I might masturbate using my imagination later on, but rarely do I ever spend much time masturbating to artificial sexual stimulation. Recently I would say it's either happening once or twice a week where I am ending up on those safe search google images for 5 or 10 minutes masturbating to them.

    But the way I see it is this is a huge difference compared to masturbating, edging, binging on all sorts of porn content for an entire day.

    Something a lot people always seem to be the most concerned about is how many times did you relapse, how long a streak did the get. But I more think you should be concerned about how much time did you spend relapsing. For instance say you got one guy who relapsed 3 times one week, and each time he relapsed it lasted 5 minutes. So in total he relapsed for 15 minutes that week. But then say you got another guy who relapsed once one week, but he had an hour long PMO session. In my opinion the guy that relapsed once for an hour had easily done more damage.

    Another example could be if you had two alcoholics, and one of those alcoholics drank 2 cans of beer on Monday, and then ended up drinking 2 cans of beer on the Friday. But then another alcoholic doesn't drink the entire week, but then on the Saturday he drinks a full bottle of vodka. What alcoholic has done more damage? Clearly it is the second one.

    I feel like relapsing on PMO works a similar way to this.

    Like what is the point in having a 2 week streak of no PMO if on the 14th day you spend the entire day masturbating, edging, binging on PMO? What if one guy done this? But then another guy relapses twice in those 2 weeks having a PMO session of 5 minutes each time. What guy has done more damage? and what guy is making better progress?

    It was kind of a side point in your thread, but for me the number 1 cause of relapses always was hangovers from alcohol. I guess you get your self-control so leveled down on this occasions that it's almost certain you'll return to your old pleasure seeking habits. It's something to be very cautious off if one wants to pursue this path of no-PMO lifestyle.

    It's literally the only time I relapse on porn or artificial sexual stimulation, when I am hungover.

    I'd say why relapse in the first place. Joking aside, I deeply believe that one should convince himself that PMO is off the table for life. If shit hits the fan as it usually does, one should have preplan what to do in case of a slip. Mine looks like this -> Jul 16, 2019 (some fellow Fapstronaut named it scorched earth plan, I guess it kindda is because it lives no room for interpretation what to do) My mentor said to me once, there's no guilt or shame in relapsing as long as you relapse better each time. What he meant by this is that as long as you analyze why slip occured, learn from it and try not to repeat the same mistake again you're making progress.

    Then there's pretty simple solution to your problem. No alcohol -> no hangover -> no relapse. I did exactly that. Alcohol is poisonous to your body anyway.
     
  6. Bingeing on porn. Drinking and then having hangovers. Hangovers and bingeing on porn. I am sure you can see what's going on and I think you know exactly what needs to be done. Choose wisely!
