Do you think that the retention helps?

  3. I'll tell you what happened to me. I was totally a failure in academics some months ago, I was drained of every energy because of pmo and never studied, now I am really willingly to keep my studies and also extra studies and I'll tell you more
this morning I received the scolarship I asked for 15 days ago.
If you quit and change your life you can have whatever you want

Now this is what I wanted to hear.

Congratulations with the received scholarship, fg!

I discovered NoFap after campus. Now I want to be back to program. IMHO retention is the number one prerequisite for achievements. Is 90 your longest streak? How long do you think you gonna keep it? Why?

Just more happiness from little things in life ...also much more energy for study and everything basically. I wish everyone to have 1 year pmo free to see for himself the benefits . Its not easy but worth the effort

100 days is the minimum to see the benefit of much much less urges (1/10th approximately) . The fight becomes easier after 3 and more months

Yes, it says it becomes easier, the constant part is the hardest.

  10. no it has been 127 days broke last 4th of septmber, but it's not about retention but about quittin PM, I mean I am on hardmode because I've no girlfriend, I don't crave to get one but if I'll fall in love I'll just keep on abstaing from PM.
There's no special number, it is about the change in your life, I've figured it out after over 2 years of trying, but it can also take less, you replace the old bad habit with new good ones, I mean this morning I was free and just a year ago this would have mean that I would PM'd all day and I wouldn't be willingly to study or anything.
Today instead I woke up early, I hitted the gym at 7 am so that from 9 30 to 12 30 I studied hard. and the nearest exam is in one month, I just wanted to do it instead of bad habits, that's the trick. replace the bad with the good

I don’t know fg how you can do this. In Italy there’re so many attractive girls.

  12. I got used to. Habit is the key. everything you need to do, has to be a must and become an habit, since I began the new streak I NEVER woke up after 8 30 am, no matter the day or what I've done the previous evening. I don't use alarm clocks, I am used to, I don't crave for beatiful girls, I am used to. I always study, why? because I am used to.

  13. Hey, first of all nice to meet you.
Never met you before around. Hope everything is ok :).

Well my experience is quiet easy. I was getting a bachelor degree. And I was already 2 years late for it. So I decided to start this process.
But I knew that no matter what I did, I would have still the stigma of the person graduated too late.
So I needed to be undeniable. Needed to do something more. Something different.
I started to do "extra-courses".To get certifications. All from my university or other's university.
But the cheapest one was like about 300$. And it's not like I was swimming in money.
But I wanted to do it. So did everything I could to impress the university for months.
Until I applied for the program. The program provided 50 lucky students to limited free access to the courses(5 per year for 2 years).
And I won. Maybe because many didn't apply. Or I was just lucky.
Still I got my free access to courses I am sure they will change my life.
    Hoping it helped.
Nice to meet you again :)

Thank you very much for sharing your experience with us. I'm interested to know which courses you took and which ones you liked the most.
Thanks in advance for the answer!

  15. Well I basically aimed to cover my weakness in programming since I was becoming an engineer and altough a chemical one not an informatic I wanted to be prepared to do great things with PC. So I learned to code and even to create site.
I guess that learning CSS has been one of the most interesting :)
