Hey Guys, first of all sorry for my english grammar.

It's my 23 day of nofap (hardmode) and I don't see any benefits, why? I'm workout on gym and I eat healthy.

I haven't noticed deeper voice, confidence, better mood and other - I didn't have morning erections for about 7 years. (I'm 26 yo)

I was very addicted to porn - I watched pornography for several hours a day (edging) every day. I started to watch different types of porn (hard bdsm, rape, but nothing illegal)

I have problems with social anxiety, depression, I have 0 self-confidence - I want to be a real man with confidence, deeper voice, better posture(muscles)

Maybe it's too early to notice any changes because I was very addicted to porn and I destroyed my dopamine receptors, what do you think ?

    I'm taking vitamin D(2000 J.m), zinc(15-30mg), vitamin C(1g) and Citicoline(200 mg per day)

On some days I feel very depressed, sad and I almost cry (I don't know why) but It pass after several hours, sometimes I have very strong urges too.
23 days nofap is my record, I have a very high level of testosterone and sometimes it was hard for me to withstand 3-4 days.

First things first, don't demotivate yourself and have patience..

Will you complain about not becoming Arnold just after 1 month of visiting Gym or doing workout.. No right?

Hence as you said 7 years are not less time, so it might take you some more time to experienc the normal life( yes normal life like a normal NON PMOER), and another reason could be, you must be in a flatline where you feel worser, you might get to know what it is after reading about it!

By then.. Best of luck, keep improving yourself by doing some productive work everyday!

I don't experience any of the benefits that many people report either. Honestly I believe that some of it is mere placebo. These benefits are not the reason why I quit PMO however. My reason is to not be addicted to sex anymore. That's enough for me.

You shouldn’t do nofap for those « superpowers ». Addiction withdrawal can make the process of quitting really hard and if you don’t have a better reason to stop it will be difficult.

personally I am not here for benefits. Its more about reducing harm for me, if that makes sense.
Developing self control is always good and is an obvious benefit too.

It’s going to a lot longer than 23 days. That’s a blip. (But still commendable) Imagine you had let yourself go and were very out of shape out and overweight. Would you expect to be feeling and looking better in 23 days? It takes real time to get your brain back into fighting shape. All those benefits you want will come. You just need more time.

If you're going to gym, you know, how much time you need to get muscles and how hard you need to work, discipline, etc. This is actually very semilar. You need to follow nofap for some real time.

fapping doesn't make you a better person. IT IS WHAT YOU DO AT THE TIME THAT YOU USUALLY MASTURBATE OR WATCH PORN THAT MAKES YOU A BETTER PERSON.

I see... so why many people say that nofap has increased their attractiveness? happiness, deeper voice, their muscles grow faster, more atractive to women, better sleep, high confidence, less social anxiety and depression - all by regulating dopamine and androgen receptors - so its fake (placebo) ? One guy wrote that he didn't do anything else than nofap (no gym, no health food, no socialize) and he get a lot benefits like high confidence, anxiety and depression gone away - did he lie?

It's different for different people. From my side I can say, I started to eat more healthy food, because it's a log more easy to reject sweet and low quality food. Also, I'm able to work on personal projects without ataching a lot of willpower to it. It's also easier for me to speak with people and easier to do everyday trainings.

Still I can't say, that depression and anxiety gone away. Maybe I have other reasons for this, but at least nofap helps.

  12. Dude, I'm on day 113. I feel... Yeah, I have some benefits, but not as much as I was waiting for, as much as I thought I would get. Yet, my patience is with me. Chill and wait.

Umm.... maybe I don't feel any benefits because I started smoking 3 months ago? I smoke 10-13 cigarettes a day, what do you think?

Dude by your description is likely that you are problems are deeper than PMO and smoking, you should try to get to the bottom of why you do/did these things so often, visiting a psychotherapist can be your best bet

I want you to do something. Research on the consequences of PMO both the good and the bad. Find as many as you can get. Then distill the good into the top 5 that you want. Then get a journal and write about your day and gradually you'll be able to see a resemblance with your positive list.
Remember nothing comes easy but everything is worth the wait.

  16. Besides quitting PMO for 23 days, have you made any other changes in your life?

I started exercising at the gym, nothing more. I thought that my confidence would improve because of nofap, I could then feel better in socializing.

  18. Rape is illegal but that is not important, so what I noticed is some reboots I notice nothing, than other times I experience a ton of stuff, honestly it all depends on your body and brain, who knows why it’s so random but you just need to be patient, I recommend a pill called ashwagandha by plnt, it’s 100% all natural and organic, I have been taking it for about 2 months now and my depression, anxiety, stress have all decreased by about 80% so has my overthinking from my ocd, I highly recommend getting some.

That is correct. You have spent years with very damaging behaviour - edging is the worst btw - and you will not notice any benefits in just three weeks. In context, three weeks is a very short time. But it is good that you have made a positive start. :) Do everything you can to avoid relapsing. If you should relapse, do not edge because it is so destructive!
