When did you first hit flatline? Before or after starting NoFap?

Here's a link to my story, which I posted six years after qutting porn.

Here's the update I recently posted on the same thread
    **** Update ****

Hi guys. I just thought I'd post an update to my situation. I'm 28 now and I'm now 9 years without porn, but I'm still not cured of my ed/no libido.I've still not given up completely yet and I'm still trying different methods in an attempt to cure this. Heres a list of the things I've tried since my original post without any improvement: 15 months monk mode, 3 day water fast, rewiring with pt 141, smoked crystal meth in an attempt to jumpstart libido (see my other thread - https://yourbrainrebalanced.com/for...phamphetamine-to-cure-pied.36241/#post-702844), relapsed on purpose in an attempt to jumpstart libido (the only time in the last nine years I've watched porn). After ruling all these methods out I decided to pursue another relationship because I still don't feel like I've completely ruled out rewiring considering there at guys who have seen slow improvements up to the five year mark into rewiring. I have previously been in a three and a half year relationship since quitting porn, but I we didn't have sex very frequently after the first six months.

So I've been in this new relationship for 10 months now. I've been having sex 2-3 times per week for the duration of it. I've been using 100mg sildenafil to get and stay hard during sex. Condoms are something I have difficulty using because I only get hard for short periods, so I asked my gf early on if we could not use them and rely solely on her birth control pill. I've also been using pelvic floor exercises, which have helped my pe and eq slightly. I've learnt that my pe is only an issue when I've not been sexually active for a week or more. After around a month of regular sex using the stop start technique I can build up to last for around 10 minutes. My libido hasn't improved at all in the last 10 months. I still have no desire/motivation for sex. When I use 100mg sildenafil I can get hard from kissing only and can reliably have sex, but without the drug I find my erection are very weak unless I receive manual stimulation. Also I suffer pe without sildenafil due to the weaker erection. On a lower does the sildenafil loses most of its benefit. The 100mg dose has been a crutch for me for the last few years as the only way for me to have successful sex even though its far from perfect and is just masking my problem. The issue I have now is that I get chest pains when I take sildenafil, which is thought to be a serious side effect of the drug. I've had to limit taking it to every other day maximum, which has reduced this side effect and still allows me to maintain a reasonable sex frequency in order to satisfy my gf. I want to stop using the drug but my relationship is kind of dependent on it right now, so I'm looking for another solution. I've tried spedra and cialiss at the max dose, levitraa at 10mg but they aren't as effective as sildenafil or not effective at all. I still want to try levitraa at max dose to rule it out. Anyone have any other ideas?

  6. Get your test levels checked your estrogen and your shbg and prolactin , that would be my first point of call

I've seen a urologist twice and both times all blood test came back normal . I also ordered a home male hormone testing kit not so long ago. All results came back normal.

  8. I want to ask you.
When you have sex, ejaculate? Do you have an orgasm?
I have been in the same situation for 4 years !!!
What was the longest period without orgasm?

Yeah I can orgasm easily from sex. I have issues with PE when I'm sexually inactive for a while. I did a period of 15 months monk mode, which I thought would be more than enough time! I read more and more cases like ours every time I come on these forums. Maybe time alone isn't enough for some of us...

  10. So i noticed that if i did not orgasm for a longer period something erection would improve.
But I am in a relationship and until no more than 2 months ago I managed without orgasm. I tried to have sex without reaching orgasm but if I get excited I can't stop ...
If you continue to have orgasms you will remain in the flatline forever ... it is valid and for me it takes a long time without orgasm.

What were your numbers if you don't mind posting? I work in a medical center that has a low-T clinic, so I'm a bit more educated on the issue than most.

I went 15 months without orgasm and didn't feel any libido or improvement during this period, so I think its unlikely that I will heal by going longer

The most recent test I did was a home blood test in February. The shbg result is the only one not in normal range, but my free testosterone was still in the normal range. The urologist didn't flag this up to me as high the two times I was tested by him and when I took this test I had just finished a diet to around 8 percent body fat, so I think this may have affected the result.

  14. Hey man, good to see someone from YBR. Was there in 2014-2015. Sorry to hear your struggle. I'll be following this thread.

PS: Maybe try cannabis products if it's legal where you leave. Cannabis has an insane aphrodisiac effect on me and I recently read an article about it relating to sex. Try to stay away from these ED drugs man. They don't sound very good on the long run and it looks like you've been using super heavy doses.

Normal range doesn't mean jack honestly. "Low" on the range is when you're so low you're at risk of long term health complications related to low-T such as heart disease, osteoporosis etc. Even being on the lower end of the normal range, which you are, can lower a guy's sex drive, and sexual function if in his youth he was much higher. The doctor in my clinic treats guys higher than you who are sympathetic. I'm not qualified to give you medical advice, but I encourage you to get medical advice from actual experts in the TRT field, and not a urologist, they're not well known for being educated on the issue.

I'd join this facebook group, and chat the guys up in it, all guy's on TRT, and several doctors in the group who will normally comment on blood test if you post them: https://www.facebook.com/groups/testosteronereplacement/

Hey man! I hope your journey is much easier than mine! I actually went on a trip to Amsterdam this year and smoked a little cannabis for the first time in 10 years. It didn't have any effect on my libido, but before this I quit porn and entered this flatline I noticed that weed had an aphrodisiac effect on me too! Yeah agreed the side effects of ed drugs are pretty nasty! I'm looking to stop take sildenafil asap, but right now its the only way I can have sex and maintain my relationship!

  17. You have to stoo taking that shit man! It messes up with your hormonal system and I don't think it should be used on a regular basis. Maybe that's what keeps you in the flatline. Good chances they messed up your libido just like porn did back in the days.

I'll certainly look into this so thanks for the link. When I took this blood test I had been in a calorie deficit for a few months prior and also Id been drinking more alcohol than usual, so I think those two things were a factor. This being a hormonal issue all along wouldn't really make sense though because all of my symptoms came about after quitting porn. Before I quit porn I had a libido and could get a full erection from masturbation.

Always worth revisiting to see where you are now, however that is interesting.

I underwent Gainswave therapy myself for ED, it more or less took care of it.
