That all depends. I’d much rather have no libido than have constant urges that cause relapsing and failing a hard mode streak after only a couple of days repeatedly for months. I’ve been in both scenarios multiple times. I’ll take the low libido any day.

    you need to transcend that
occupy yourself with something else, hit the gym, work on a project, business so on and so forth
this is a mindset change and it takes time and discipline but once you reach that point it gets easier
if you're a beginner yeah, you will fail, no doubt about it

I’m well aware of all of that. I’ve been on NoFap for nearly two years. And from that experience, I can tell you for a fact there are far worse symptoms than merely experiencing low libido.

I've decided to make NoFap a life long journey (basically abandoning porn and masturbation for good) so it doesn't really matter to me how long it will take to fully heal. 12 years of addiction is somewhere in the middle from what I read, so your recovery might not take as long as some of us +2 decades fappers need, but you can't tell as everyone's timeline is different. The is no rule.

I experienced pretty much all negative symptons in my 3 year flatline
it's been a tough journey, I went through so many stages it's not even funny

Yeah those other symptoms you’re referring to are what has caused me to fail. The withdrawals are absolutely brutal for me every time. Urges, flatline (low libido) are but minor afflictions compared to feeling like you’re literally dying 24/7, zero appetite, insomnia, being so dizzy you can barely stand, among countless others. On my current streak I’ve only experienced low libido and I’m counting my blessings...although I’m fully prepared for the real withdrawals to hit me at any time.

There were days in the first year where I was sleepwalking in fatigue by 17:00 PM (late afternoon), entire days where I was living like a living zombie, no thirst, no appetite, cognitive pain, extreme anhedonia insomnia, it took me 2 hours to fall asleep, dude.. the list could go on and on, a lower back pain that lasted 18 months (thankfully it's gone now!)

despite some symptoms having lingered to this day There's one that it's almost cured, I'd say 90%, and that's the insomnia, I suffered throughout most of my flatline with this shit, it's crazy, it would take me 2 hours to fall asleep and I'd only sleep for 3 hours, and then I'd wake up at 4:00 am, not anymore, nowadays I fall asleep in less than 30 minutes and I'm sleeping longer than 7 hours

    I'm grateful for that

It's coming back little by little, I had a bout of libido last week and this week I'm experiencing none, but thanks to the new therapeutic approach I'm slowly getting back to normalcy

    This was my situation
My nervous system was in that blue zone, I was stuck there in a frozen state
Now I'm coming out of it, slowly but I'm finally leaving this zone (btw, the same symptoms of the flatline)

  20. Thank you, this makes sense. I have been traumatized by a very bad series of events which kept happening and i forced my self to be exposed several times to it.it gave me panic attacks and chronic anxiety, could this be a reason for slowly deteriorating mg sexual function until ending up with erectile dysfunction and unabilty to get aroused(no libido) ?

Would you mind Sharing what type of exercises are you following and feel have worked best for you?

    Thank you.
