    Sim, existem benefícios por reter o sêmen.
    Tanto tendo perdido tempo se masturbando e perdendo sêmen e depois se recuperando quanto uma pessoa que nunca fez obtém benefícios pela retenção.
    Vamos à eles:
    Obviamente, maior energia.Clareza mental,criatividade,funções biológicas mais desenvolvidas,voz mais grossa.
    Pesquise sobre Transmutação Sexual e Mostrando outros benefícios.

    You are quite right since receiving the supposed benefits requires also developing the right mindset, values and proper habits which takes time, effort, hard work (in a mental, physical and spiritual sense) and perseverance. The approach has to be holistic and stoic since you can't remain being average Joe who just stops PMO and then expect to receive all the benefits.
    You have to work on yourself day by day and gradually replace all toxic habits, peoples, mindsets, and influences with better ones if you want to receive the benefits. There are quite a few fellows on this forum who complains and moans about flatlining and not having received any benefits but that's mostly (and most likely) because they barely change anything else in their lives besides NoFap.
    Because, let's be realistic: If you eat a SAD regularly, only exercise 2-3 times/week, never read, educate yourself, are addicted to your phone, binge-drink every other weekend, surround yourself with toxic, negative people, and the only thing you do is stopping PMO, how can you expect all the benefits and that great life just falling from the sky into your lap??

  7. There is a difference between NoFap and semen retention.NoFap is a forum for quitting an addiction and hence it does have benefits.But when it comes to Semen retention so far there is no evidence that it offers any benefits.

    And what do you support that claim on?
    Do you think it sounds rather healthy and beneficial to ejaculate away plenty of useful minerals and proteins a few times a week instead of retaining them in your body/system so they can be used to strengthen your body and its functions instead?
    Not to mention the fatigue, dullness, indifference and crippling passivity you feel afterwards.
    So how can there be no evidence that it doesn't offer any benefits?
    Is it only because these claims aren't necessarily published (and peer-reviewed) in the latest scientific journals and papers (yet)?

    spiritual energy - spirit doesn't exist
    other claims - caused by just not being addicted to porn
    boost confidence - they're talking about excessive masturbation
    boost energy - they talk about b12, but only traces of it are eliminated in O, and how O would lower tersosterone but evidence says it's not in a significant manner(to be realistic, nothing lowers testosterone as much as dairy and yet nearly no one cares)
    self control - just don't pm, duh
    sharp memory - it plainly says there is no scientific proof
    strong hairs - because of loss of keratin .... facepalm
    deep voice - no scientific evidence for such claims
    relieves depression - same
    boosts libido - same
    makes you a risk taker - etc
    improve sleep - again, based on the low testosterone nonsense
    boosts immune system - due to loss of nutrients ... the amount is insignificant


    In conclusion, you can't be bothered to fact check anything and you wouldn't know how to anyway because this article contains zero scientific evidence.
    I'm not going to watch the video since it's clear you are clueless about understanding anything.

    It seems like you are only living in the material world without even thinking about concepts as presence, mindfulness or spirituality. The world around you is so much bigger and grander than what only science and your senses perceive and if you live and shape your life according to only what "The established science" can prove, you will live life a very mundane, stagnant and ignorant life.
    So, continue to live on with your pessimistic beliefs, lack of humility and negative energy if that's what you want (nothing in the world would make you change your beliefs anyways since you don't want to take in anything that contradicts your existing ones) but please make sure to keep them to yourself so others don't have to take be affected by it. And yes, negative energies and vibes can be felt indeed and are very contagious.

    Where do you (according to you) draw the line between pseudo-science and real science?
    Does it have to be decade long studies with peer-reviewed paper from a Nobel Price winner in order for you to be considered as "real science"?
    Yes, I have received a lot of backlash from skeptics and pessimists here but none of them still hasn't shown me any scientific evidence themselves (claiming that there point of view is correct). If semen-retention is baloney according to you, what do you base that claim of?
    Simply shouting out "There is no scientific evidence that supports this" while not coming up with any scientific evidence yourself (that supports your own point) doesn't sound too convincing either

    I think that semen and masturbation is between porn (gateway fantasies) and orgasm. It works like alcoholism, the easiest part is to not touch your dick, but the hardest part is to deal with the things happening on your mind and brain. For me, fap its like drink alcohol. If you stop doing it your gonna see some changes in your body, but this is not a miraculous thing. Because you have to make sinergy with a good diet and exercice and meditation. NoFap its just one of many bad habits you have to change in your personal life to change your complete way of act and think. Remember that the main goal its to take advantage of the plasticity of your brain to repair the damage. Of course semen retention have benefits but its not magic bro

    You are right that semen-retention and NoFap has to begin (and continue) with a holistic approach in mind because if you surround yourself with bad habits and toxic people, just retaining your semen alone won't work like magic and give you superpowers. On the other hand, if you acquire good habits simultaneously (unless most of them are already in place) and strive every day to improve yourself in both thought and action, more of the benefits will be experienced for sure.
