4 months porn free today. This ties my longest lifetime streak since I first found my dad's skin mags stashed under the mattress (so stereotypical, I know, but that's how it played out lol. I probably saw it in a movie and then decided to check).

But anyways, on to other things. I'm here in The Bahamas. It's only 50 miles from the American coast. I was surprised to learn how far south the islands stretch, as they continue all the way to about 50 miles off Cuba's east coast. 70% of the population live in the capital, Nassau, so most of these islands are sparsely populated. Nassau is very colorful and chill, however a bit touristy at the same time. They have a flamingo pink parliament building, which is quite trippy. On one of the other islands there is a place called Hope Town, whose main source of income back in the day was salvaging ships that had wrecked upon its shores. That is crazy. Some very dangerous waters there. I'm having a great time and don't want to leave. I'm already working on my plan to start up an EDM group called 'Pink Parliament'. I'll keep you posted.

Well, this past week was rocky, due to some triggers popping up within my social circle. And the urges continue, somewhat stronger than before. But I am still here.

I made it another ten days, and to get away from a rocky week, I took a trip to a country that has billions upon billions of tiny particles ground down from rocks. Sand! Bahrain is a country that is over 90% desert. But, strangely enough, it is an archipelago country, with between 1/2 and 2/3 of its islands man made.

Bahrain has some weird things going on there. It is located to the east of Saudi Arabia, and there is a bridge that connects the two countries. Saudi Arabia is one of the most conservative countries in the world. Bahrain is the most liberal country in the middle east, where alcohol is sold freely. So what do you think this means? It means that Saudi Arabians regularly flood the country to party and let off some steam. They are known as the crazy party animals of the country, which is ironic, and definitely weird.

They also are ruled by a king. A monarchy which was established long ago in........ 2002. That's right. 2002. So, um.. yeah. In fact, they've only been free from British rule since the 1970's.

Foreigners make up 55% of the country, since the native population was nowhere large enough to meet labor demands when the oil boom kicked in. So, even though Arabic is the official language, English is way more important.

They were also asked by Iran to JOIN their country and become a province of Iran. Bahrain was like, thanks, but no thanks. We're good.

I'm still here in Bahrain, and will be for a little while. Gotta get ready to go watch a Formula 1 race, which is huge here.
